The Short-term Curative Effect Of Two Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy Regimens On Locally Advanced Cervical Cancer

Objective : To investigate the efficacy and toxicity of neoadjuvant chemotherapy of docetaxel( DTX) plus cisplatin( DDP) and paclitaxel(TAX)plus cisplatin before radical hysterectomy in patients with stageⅠB2~ⅡB locally advanced cervicalcancer.Methods:We reviewed 106 patients with cervical cancer of the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics(FIGO) stage IB2-IIB who were treated with different chemotherapy regimens in our hospital between Mar 2014 and Oct 2015. The patients were divided into DP group(n=54,DTX 75 mg /m2+ DDP 75 mg /m2)and TP group(n=52,TAX 135 mg /m2+ DDP 75 mg /m2).All of the patients in two groups were given two cycles of neoadjuvant chemotherapy.The efficacy,side effects of neoadjuvant chemotherapy and pathological examination after hysterectomy were compared in two groups.The patients whose chemotherapy is effective will accept surgery, invalid to other treatments, compare and analysis the postoperative pathological results of resection specimens.Results:①There was no significant difference in chemotherapy efficacy between the two groups(90.7% vs 84.6%,P>0.05).②The toxicity of neoadjuvant chemotherapy: the incidence of leucopenia in DP group were lower than those in TP group(P<0.05).There were no significant difference in decrease in hemoglobin、alopecia、hepatic renal toxicity(P>0.05).The gastroenteric and neurotoxicity reactions in DP group were lower than those in TP group(P<0.05).③There were no significant difference(P>0.05) between two groups in pathological complete remission rate, ideal pathological response rate,parametrial invasion,positive rate of pelvic lymph nodes etc(P>0. 05).Conclusions:The neoadjuvant chemotherapy of both DTX plus DDP and TAX plus DDP have significant efficacy in the treatment of locally advanced cervical cancer, and the toxicity of DTX plus DDP is lower than TAX plus DDP,is worth to be recommended in locally advanced cervical cancer.
