The Application Of Informatization Construction To Improve Lean Managementin In Operating Room

Digital hospital construction is one of key domestic development projects during the period of "11th five-year plan" and an important competitive means in current medical industry. As the quality of life continuously improve, the demand for health care services is also rising. Only by improving the quality of medical services,increasing management efficiency and reducing operating costs, can the core competitiveness of the medical profession be obtained. However, as a result of the rapid development, the application of network information technology to improve the quality of medical management of modern medical information system is an inevitable trend.The operating room is to the hospital what the heart is to human-being. Scientific and effective management of operation room is one of the important strategies for hospital development and competition.To maximize the efficiency of operating room can shorten the hospitalization time of surgery patients, reduce the hospitalization expenses of patients and improve the economic benefits of the hospital. As the hospital scale expanding, surgeries now become more specialized and complicated, surgery demand growth is beyond the general anesthesia equipment, basic facilities and nursing in operation room。How to utilize information system in the limited medical resources to improve the operating room nursing service quality in lean management, to improve the operating room management efficiency and to reduce the operating cost,has become one of the operating room managers’ concerns.The purpose of this study is based on the weak links of the lean management in XH hospital operating. By combining lean management, informationization construction and lean management in operating room, to improve the operating room management and analyzes its effect. It could be a reference for other hospitals after information construction is fulfilled in XH hospital.Operating room service principal is involved as the an research object. Method:By using references, doing data analysis, and asking questionnaire etc, to find out the main improvement aspects of informatization construction, the front desk service, instrument traceability system, nursing records, consumables management, and specimen management of the XH hospital operating room service, which will improve the effect of the lean operating room management and informationization.The operating room service subject as the object of study, through literature research, data analysis, questionnaires and other methods, find out the information construction and improving the main aspects, through to the operating room reception,device tracking, nursing records, medical consumables management, collection management of informatization construction to strengthen the effect of the lean management of operation room.The traditional way of work is changed, the working efficiency is improved, the quality of management is improved and the unnecessary loss and waste is reduced, and cost in operating room is controlled. Informatizationconstruction optimized operating room basic services, improved the operating room window service quality, optimized and improved the operating room nursing process,effectively controlled infection in operating room. Surgeons’ satisfaction up to 98%.The application of patient information display system can not only meets the need of clinical surgery department and patients’ families, timely knows the operation situation, reduces waste of time, but also makes the patient’s and family’s satisfaction from 83% to 99%.By using the information construction in XH hospital, the operating room lean management is optimized, the comprehensive qualities of the operating room nursing staff are promoted, the staff and the patient’s satisfaction is improved. Through the practice this study, the application of information construction in lean management in operating room, can not only be effective, but also is strong practical.
