Business process reengineering(BPR) refers to rebuild the old processes, organizational structure and enterprise culture, in order to achieve significant progress in cost, quality, service key index. Nowadays, under the background of the increasingly medical market competitive, patients’ demands, advanced information technology, most of the hospital outpatient service process is rather clunky in our country, the patient’s degree of satisfaction is low. Therefore, the hospital outpatient service has extreme need to innovate management, updated technology. It needs a thorough reform. In order to improve patient satisfaction, and enhance the competitiveness of the hospital. This article applies the theories and methods of business process reengineering in GR Hospital outpatient service. The article analysis the present situation of the research and application in domestic and foreign of the BPR theory. Through the form of questionnaire survey and statistical analysis the present situation and existing problems of GR hospital outpatient service, and the reason of BPR. According to above research the author puts forward the reengineering idea to insist on the principle of customer orientation, principle of centering on the process, principle of people-oriented, such as reengineering. Describes the new process from trial to full of outpatient service to promote the whole implementation process.After the BPR, the portfolio of outpatient rise from 525734 to 627643. At the same time compare with the second questionnaire of satisfaction, using statistical method to analysis the date found that both of the satisfaction and waiting time have significant difference after BPR.
