Objective To investigate the distribution and drug resistance of ventilator-associated pathogens pneumonia(VAP) in the intensive care unit(ICU) of Kashgar First People’s Hospital, providing a theoretical basis for clinical prevention and prognosis of VAP.Methods 1. General information(such as the age, gender, etc) was collected of 89 cases of VAP patients in the ICU of Kashgar First People’s Hospital between January 2013 to December 2014 admitted tracheotomy or endotracheal intubation and mechanical ventilation occurred. 2. The samples were collected by the use of disposable sterile and sterile sputum specimen collection tube set bronchoscope sputum or tracheal intubation or tracheostomy tube lower respiratory secretion, and timely submission for bacterial culture and sensitivity test. 3. SPSS 17.0 software was used for statistical analysis. Results 1. The results of sputum culture showed: A total 115 of pathogens, including 12 strains(10.43%) of gram-positive bacteria(G +), 76 strains(66.09%) of Gram-negative bacteria(G-), 27(23.48%) of fungi. And the main G+ bacterium was Staphylococcus aureus, the main G- bacteria was Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Acinetobacter baumannii, Klebsiella pneumoniae and Escherichia coli, and the main fungi was Candida albicans. 2. The results of susceptibility monitoring showed: The resistance rates of pseudomonas aeruginosa to ceftazidime, imipenem, ciprofloxacin and amikacin was 28.00%,8.00%,32.00% and 16.00%; The resistance rates of acinetobacter baumannii multidrug to amikacin was 18.18%, to piperacillin / tazobactam, imipenem, tigecycline was 36.36%, 27.27% and 21.04% respectively. The re sistance rates of Klebsiella pneumoniae to piperacillin / tazobactam, amikacin was 22.22% and 33.33%.the resistance rates of Escherichia coli to piperacillin / tazobactam, amikacin was 33.33% and 22.22%,Klebsiella pneumoniae and Escherichia coli resistant to imipenem has not been found.G + bacteria resistant to vancomycin and teicoplanin has not been found. The resistance rates of Candida albicans to itraconazole was 33.33%,and the Candida albicans resistant to itraconazole has not been found. Conclusion 1. The pathogens of patients with VAP in ICU first was the gram-negative bacteria, second was fungi, and gram-positive bacteria(G +) minimum. 2. There was serious drug resistance of VAP patients, drug resistance to ceftriaxone three and four generations was common, so we should prompt clinical attention to VAP prevention, and strengthen the VAP pathogens and drug resistance dynamic monitoring, targeted rational use of antimicrobial drugs to improve the treatment of VAP rate.
