| Objective By comparing the Single Pore Video-assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery and chest closed drainage treatment the curative effect of acute pyothorax, explore the merits of the two methods in treatment of acute pyothorax.Methods Department of thoracic surgery were retrospectively analyzed in January 2012- June 2015 clinical data of 65 cases of acute pyothorax patients, 30 of whom underwent Single Pore Video-assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery as experimental group, as a control group of 35 routine chest closed drainage, through the analysis of two groups of data as a result, compare the curative effect of treatment of acute pyothorax in one of two ways.Results Experimental group in postoperative chest tube indwelling time( 7.90±2.62 d vs 12.02±4.64 d, P < 0.05), length of hospital stay(9.93±2.77 d vs 14.08±4.96 d, P < 0.05), postoperative antibiotics(9.23±2.59 d vs 12.86±4.45 d,P<0.05) significantly less than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05), and in theincidence of postoperative complications, into the proportion of the chronic pyothorax and secondary tube rate is lower than the control group,differences are statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusion Single Pore Video-assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery treatment of acute pyothorax is safe and effective, and is worth promoting. |
