Objective:To analysis the change of calcium-phosphorus product and 25-hydroxy vitamin D3 in patients of fractures and the relationship between biochemical indices of bone and fracture healing of postoperation. Methods: This research analyzed the data of 120 patients diagnosed with limb long fracture from October 2013 to August 2015 in the fifth Affiliated Hospital of Zunyi Medical College by retrospective study. Among the 120 patients, 95 of them are bony union while others are delayed union. Male of them are 82 and female are 38. The cases are distributed in the age of 20 to 55 years old and the average age is 41.6. Mechanisms of injury for traffic are 90 cases, high fall injuries are 12 cases, 6 cases are crush injury and other factors lead to trauma(12 cases). 45 cases of fracture are upper limb while lower extremity fracturesinclude 75 cases. Closed fracture includes 80 cases while compound fracture includes 40 cases. 1. To obtain the patient’s calcium serum, serum phosphorus and 25-hydroxy vitamin D3 in the preoperative, postoperative 6 hours, 1 week after the operation and 1 month after the operation. Then we got the patients’ radiograph after 9 months. The patients were divided into two groups, which were bone healing group and delayed union group. 2. The calcium serum, serum phosphorus,calcium-phosphorus product and 25-hydroxy vitamin D3 of postoperative 6 hours, 1 week after the operation and 1 month after the operation were compared with the one in the preoperative one by one to make sure whether there was a change of statistical significance. 3. According to the position of the patients, the patients were divided into upper limb group and lower limb group. All abovewere from the same statistical analysis. 4. According to the position of the patients, the patients were divided into closed fracture and compound fracture group. All abovewere from the same statistical analysis. 5. The SPSS16.0 software was used for statistical analysis. The gender, fracture site and soft tissue injury were tested respectively and the chi-square test was used in the statistical analysis. There were the statistically significant which were showed by P<0.05. Statistically significant indicators were further grouped by t-test and there were the statistically significant which were showed by P<0.05.Results: 1.There was no significant change of calcium serum, serum phosphorus,calcium-phosphorus product and 25-hydroxy vitamin D3 in the patients of bone healing group anddelayed union group in 6 hours after operation(P>0.05). 2. In bone healing group the calcium serum, serum phosphorus,calcium-phosphorus product and 25-hydroxy vitamin D3 were statistically significant changed in 1 week and 1 month after operation(P<0.05). There was also a statistical difference between bone healing group and delayed union group(P<0.05). 3.According to the position of the patients which were divided into upper limb group and lower limb group, the calcium serum, serum phosphorus,calcium-phosphorus product and 25-hydroxy vitamin D3 were statistically significant changed in 1 week and 1 month after operation(P<0.05)and there was also a statistical difference between thebone healing group and delayed union group( P < 0.05). 4.According to the position of the patients which were divided into closed fracture and compound fracture, the calcium serum, serum phosphorus,calcium-phosphorus product and 25-hydroxy vitamin D3 were statistically significant changed in 1 week and 1 month after operation(P<0.05)and there was also a statistical difference between thebone healing group and delayed union group(P<0.05).Conclusion: 1.The deficiency of calcium serum, serum phosphorus and 25-hydroxy vitamin D3 in 1 week and 1 month after operation may be one of the important factors that lead to delayed union after operation. 2. The levels of calcium-phosphorus product and 25-hydroxy vitamin D3 in 1 week and 1 month after operation can be used as one of the important index for predicting the risk of delayed union after operation. 3. The levels of serum calcium, serum phosphorus and 25-hydroxy vitamin D3 in 6 hours after operation were not enough to predict the risk of delayed union after operation.
