Part Ⅰ Unexplained liver function abnormality:etiology and diagnosis of 61 cases by liver histological examinationObjective:To probe into the etiology of patients with unknown causes of abnormal liver f unction. To analyze the disease spectrum of patients with unexplained liver functi on abnormality, Through to the histopathological examination. Methods:We retrospectively analyzed the clinical datas and Pathological results in 61 pat ients with unexplained liver function abnormalities who underwent percutaneous li ver biopsy at our hospital in the last 4 years. Results:The patients with unexplained liver function abnormality were diagnosed after liver histological examination, of whom 30 had drug-induced liver injury(49.2%), 14 cases had Gilbert’s syndrome(23.0%), 8 had fatty liver disease(13.1%), 4 had hepatic vascular disease(6.6%), 3 had autoimmune liver disease(4.9%), glycogen accumulation syndrome and digestive tract infections accounted for 1 case, respectively(1.9%).Conclusion:Liver histological examination is an important method to clarify the cause of liver dysfunction.Part Ⅱ Factors correlating with the liver inflammation degree in chronic HBV infected patients with normal liver functionObjective:To study the correlation between sex, age, HBe Ag, HBV DNA, spleen thicknes s, gallbladder wall thickness and inner diameter of portal vein with liver Inflamma tion degree in chronic HBV infected patients with normal liver function. Methods:Retrospective analyzing the cases of 41 chronic HBV infected patients with normal liver function who had been conducted liver histological examination, and finding the respective contribution of the above factors to the inflammation degree by using Logistic regression. Results:Majority of the 41 patients with chronic HBV infection had different degrees of inflammation and pathological changes, 30 had inflammation grade≥G2(43.9%), Age and gallbladder wall thickness were independent risk factors for liver inflammation(OR values were 5.469, 4.506; P values were 0.003, 0.014).Conclusion:Nearly half of the chronic HBV infected patients with normal liver function has liver inflammation grade ≥G2 and age, gallbladder wall thickness were both of the clinical indicators in the assessment of the liver inflammation degree in chronic HBV infectedpatients with normal liver function, the two factors may have a certain significance for the follow-up of these patients.
