Objective:To verify whether the recovery effectiveness of ultrasound-guided accurate injection is better than physical therapy in the treatment of rotator cuff injury. In rehabilitation department outpatient section of Shanxi Dayi hospital,rotator cuff injured patients were treated with transcuataneous electrical nerve stimulation(TENS),and achieve a certain effect.With the introduction of musculoskeletal ultrasound equipment,and professor to Taiwan to receive training in musculoskeletal ultrasound, our department carried out ultrasound guided drug accurate injection therapy for the treatment of rotator cuff injury,and achieved good efficacy.In this study,we use musculoskeletal ultrasound which is real time dynamic, clear and effective check for rotator cuff,and make accurate diagnosis of rotator cuff injury,and observe the treatment effectiveness of ultrasound-guided accurate injection of betamethasone to compared with physical therapy in the treatment of rotator cuff injury.Method:Thirty rotator cuff injured patients who were confirmed in rehabilitation department outpatient section of Shanxi Dayi hospital from April 2013 to October 2013, and who was treated with transcuataneous electrical nerve stimulation(TENS) were involved in physical therapy group.Thirty rotator cuff injured patients who were confirmed in rehabilitation department outpatient section of Shanxi Dayi hospital from August 2014 to September 2015, and who was treated with ultrasound-guided shoulder injection of betame Thasone were involved in ultrasound-guided injection group. The shoulder active flextion range of motion(AFROM) and active abduction range of motion(AAROM) andisual analogue score(VAS) was compared before treatment and immediately,1 week,2weeks and 4 weeks after treatment in both groups.Result:Compared with pretreatment,there were significantly increased in AFROM and AAROM and decreased in VAS score at immediately after treatment,1 week,2 weeks and4 weeks post treatment in two groups(both P<0.05).Compared with physical therapy group,the VAS score of ultrasound-guided injection group showed significant decrease at immediately after treatment,1 week,2 weeks and 4 weeks post treatment(P <0.05),especially at immediately after treatment.Compared with physical therapy group,the AFROM and AAROM of ultrasound-guided injection group showed significant increase at immediately after treatment,1 week,2 weeks and 4 weeks post treatment(P<0.05),especially at immediately and 1 week after treatment.Conclusion:Ultrasound-guided shoulder injection of betamethasone is effective in treating rotator cuff injury with accurate positioning and less adverse reaction.The technique can relieve the pain obviously and rapidly,and increase the shoulder active flextion and abduction range of motion.
