Objective: To investigate elderly T2 DM patients with serum BDNF, MG levels, cognitive function and interaction between the three. Methods: A hospital-based case-control matching frequency. Select February 2014 -March 2015 in the Second Hospital of Lanzhou University 2 diabetes in elderly outpatients with type 2 diabetes, a total of 64 cases. Go to the control group of Lanzhou University Second Hospital Medical Center for the same period to accept non-diabetic healthy 57 cases. Both groups were excluded mental diseases and senile dementia. The control group and the case group were frequency matched by age, sex and educational level.(1) ELISA assay two groups of BDNF;(2)HPLC assay MG;(3) sets of repetitive mental status tests(RBANS) to detect cognitive function. Results: The serum BDNF levels in elderly patients with T2 DM group 4.97 ± 3.05 ng / ml,MG level 67.9nmol / L; normal elderly control group, serum BDNF levels 11.77 ± 7.92 ng / ml,MG level 43.86 nmol / L, two sets of data compared to serum BDNF levels in elderly patients with T2 DM group decreased significantly(P <0.01). methylglyoxal(MG) levels significantly increased(P <0.05), and MG increased BDNF levels have decreased and some relevance. Elderly T2 DM and normal elderly control group in standardized tests of cognitive scale scores, breadth of vision, immediate memory, delayed memory and attention obviously decreased(P <O.05), multiple regression adjusted for age, culture Once the extent of the relevant factors, serum BDNF levels and cognitive scale standardized score, the delay associated with memory and attention functions are still evident, diabetes MG serum level of delay memory, immediate memory and have a certain scale standardized score correlation, statistically significant(P <0.05); serum BDNF levels and serum levels of MG has a statistical correlation, and showed a significant negative correlation(P =0.031 <0.05), with statistical significance.CONCLUSION: Type 2 DM patients may lead to cognitive impairment, aMCI prone, and accompanied by MG levels increased and decreased levels of BDNF. 2.T2 DM cognitive function in patients with MG, BDNF levels have some relevance, and MG increased and decreased BDNF some degree of association, there may be involved in the pathogenesis of cognitive impairment. Objective: To study the influence of locomotor activity of serum BDNF, MG and cognitive function in elderly patients with T2 DM.Methods: This study is taken where the Second Hospital of Lanzhou University Endocrinology ward, outpatient and hospital medical center to the fundamental frequency matched case-control as a method to select. This study selected elderly patients with type 2 diabetes, 64 cases are from 2014 February 1 March 2015 the period of time in the Second Hospital of Lanzhou University Branch 2 diabetes, 3 outpatients hospitalized patients(the first part of the diabetic group) while excluding mental disease and senile dementia. Application of behavioral change theory an exercise plan and follow-up of the elderly diabetic, take target heart rate, perceived exertion level(RPE) and other related indicators to monitor exercise intensity and install micro letter on each patient and teach patients to use a mobile phone micro letter motor function.Requirements per person per day of moderate-intensity walking exercise 35-45 minutes exercise a week and not less than five days at the beginning of the movement to bring the patient to start to use mobile phones and micro motor function letter, circle of friends through the weekly statistical follow-up and urge the patient to the next week campaign. Respectively before the experiment, after 12 weeks of participation in the experimental exercise and 24 weeks, respectively, monitoring of serum BDNF, MG and cognitive function evaluation.(1) ELISA assay two groups of BDNF;(2) HPLC assay MG;(3) sets of repetitive mental State Examination(RBANS) to detect cognitive function.Results:(1) After sports 12 weeks, the patient’s weight, blood lipids in varying degrees of decline; cognitive assessment in immediate memory, delayed memory significantly improved, but the impact on the breadth of vision, speech function is not obvious; movement on the level of serum BDNF some improvement, but changes in serum levels did not change significantly MG.(2) sports 24 weeks later, the patient’s weight, blood lipids continue to decline in varying degrees, in which LDL has shown a significant decline; cognitive assessment in addition to the immediate memory, delayed memory score is still on the rise, the speech function score also appeared to improve statistically significant, but the impact on the breadth of vision is still not clear; 24 weeks in addition to the horizontal movement of the continued increase serum BDNF,MG and serum levels declined.Compared to(3) sports and exercise after 24 weeks 12 weeks index, body weight, blood lipids, blood glucose, cognitive level the score continued improvement in any course, but also in sports and language function at 12 weeks, no significant improvement in serum MG, but insisted24 after weeks of regular exercise, the project found that cognitive function and improved serum MG’s speech appeared to accelerate change.(4) After 24 weeks of exercise intervention, diabetic group and the control group compared to the normal population no significant difference in immediate memory, attention, standardized test scores, but in the speech function, delayed memory score was still significantly lower than the normal population. And serum BDNF, MG levels in the normal population are also significant differences(P <0.05)Length(5) exercise intervention time and BMI, TC, LDL, TG, FBG, 2hPG, HbA1 c, change the content of MG has some negative correlation, ie, the longer the time duration between exercise intervention, the above values ??are declining obviously; and cognitive tests in immediate memory scores, speech function score, score attention, delayed memory scores, standardized scores, BDNF content had a positive correlation, that the longer intervention time, the scores and BDNF content there increased significantly. Conclusion: appropriate exercise can increase BDNF, reducing the content of MG, and to improve cognitive function have a positive effect.
