Aim: Compare the efficiency and safety of oxaliplatin or cisplatin based regimen in the treatment of gastric cancer. Methods: CNKI, CBM, VIP, Wangfang,PubMed, Embase, CochraneLibrary were search by computer since the establishments of these database to January 2016. Randomized controlled trials that Compared the efficiency and safety of oxaliplatin or cisplatin based regimen in the treatment of gastric cancer were included. Statistical analyses were calculated using RevMan5.3 software. Results: 28 randomized controlled trials including 3694 patients were included. Meta-analysis showed that there was a statistical significance on complete remission(OR=1.80, 95%CI: 1.19~2.72), partial remission(OR=1.24, 95%CI: 1.09~1.42), disease control rate(OR=1.24, 95%CI: 1.09~1.42) and 1-year survival rate(OR=1.28, 95%CI: 1.04~1.57, p=0.02) in oxaliplatin group; While, oxaliplatin group has higher Neurosensory toxicity(OR=8.43, 95%CI: 4.24~16.75, p<0.00001), the aspects of other toxicities like leukopenia, anemia, nausea/vomiting were significantly higher in the cisplatin group(p=0.02, 0.00001, 0.00001; respectively). Conclusions: Compared with cisplatin based regimen, oxaliplatin based regimen has an obviously advantage in patients with gastric cancer, and, can be well accepted and tolerated.
