Objective: To detect the expression of integrin-linked kinase(ILK) and tumor necrosis factor-α induced protein 8(TNFAIP8) in the hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) tissues and to explore the relation between ILK and TNFAIP8 in the occurrence and improvement of HCC.Methods: We detected the expression of ILK and TNFAIP8 in 60 cases of hepatocellular carcinoma tissues and tumor adjacent-tissues by immunohistochemistry(SP) method and analyzed the difference of ILK and TNFAIP8 expression in different clinical and pathological characteristics of HCC and the total correlation of ILK and TNFAIP8 expression. Results: The expression of ILK and TNFAIP8 in hepatocellular carcinoma tissues was significantly higher than tumor adjacent-tissues; Both the expression was not influenced by gender and age, but was closely related to tumor differentiation, TNM stage and lymph node metastasis. The expression of ILK and TNFAIP8 was positively correlated in HCC.Conclusion: ILK and TNFAIP8 are closely related to the occurrence and improvement of HCC and the expression of ILK and TNFAIP8 may have a cooperative relationship in the occurrence and improvement of HCC. They can be used as molecular markers to judge the biological behavior of HCC.
