Objective:To investigate the efficacy and the correlation between the efficacy and the influence factors of type A botulinum toxin in the treatment of hemifacial spasm(Hemifacial Spasm, HFS),blepharospasm (Blepharospasm, BS), and Meige syndrome. Methods:Sixty patients with HFS, BS and Meige syndrome who were treated and voluntarily accepted local injection of type A botulinum toxin in the neurology outpatient department of the first affiliated hospital of Kunming Medical University were collected retrospectively, and their general conditions, age of onset, courses of disease, pretreatment albert and cohen scores were recorded, then followed up for a week, a month, three months after treatment, And paid a telephone return visit for all patients in May 2015 at last, and Evaluated the posttreatment Shorr curative effect, the onset time, The curative effect duration, with or without side effects and the posttreatment Cohen scores. SPSS20.0 was used for data entry and Pearson linear correlation analysis. Results:The BS patients’ effect duration time and course of disease were negatively correlated(r=-0.677, P=0.037). Women and the HFS patients’ with the lower pretreatment Cohen scores had the higher effective rate(P<0.05); The onset time is later, The curative effect duration lasts longer(r=0.320, P=0.012). The Meige syndrome patients course of disease is shorter, The efficacy is better(P<0.05).Conclusions:The HFS patients’ symptoms are lighter, The effective treatment rate is higher; The onset time is later, The curative effect duration lasts longer. The BS and Meige syndrome patients course of disease is shorter, The efficacy is better.
