The Clinical Observation On The Therapy Of Knee Osteoarthritis By Fumigation Washing Combined With Platelet Rich Plasma Injection

Objective:we had achieved good Clinical effect using platelet-rich plasma and joint fumigation respectively to treat knee osteoarthritis.In order to clarify the synergy treatment using both platelet-rich plasma and joint fumigation,we carry out this research to explore a new method treating knee osteoarthritis.Methods:All 30 patients with knee osteoarthritis in XuZhou Central Hospital were enrolled, which were assigned to the PRP,fumigation and combination group based on patients’ voluntary choice and random principle in September 2014 to March 2015. We Statisticsed, analyzed and researched ten patients each group.Each of the three groups were PRP intra-articular injection, fumigation and combination treatment. All patients were prospectively evaluated before an at 3 and 6 months after the treatment by WOMAC scores. The patients’ knee swelling subsided was observed. Between the three groups WOMAC scores were compared using test at each time point, within groups were compared using repeated measures analysis of variance, at different time points were compared with Bonferroni test.Results:No serious adverse events were detected in three groups. There were great difference comparing the WOMAC score evaluated before treatment with WOMAC score after treatment.There were no great difference in the score of treatment after three months,while there were great difference after six months.When compare the score of third months with six months in the WOMAC score,there were great difference.Conclusion:(1) Both the PRP and fumigation group achieved effective treating knee osteoarthritis, even there is no different in Observation period. (2) The combination group had better effect and Clinical symptoms alleviate better treated 6 month later.
