Objective To investigate Yinjiadan about Graves disease pertaining to phlegm fire stagnation syndrome of the short-term and long-term clinical curative effect.Method 1. Short-term effects:by using the queue, parallel control research methods,60 cases of patients with Initial Graves disease pertaining to phlegm fire stagnation syndrome were divided randomly into treatment group (Yinjiadan combined with anti thyroid drugs) and the control group (only anti thyroid drugs), each of 30 cases. Thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), free three iodine (FT3) and free thyroid hormone (FT4) were observed at 6 time points (treat for 0 month,0.5 month,1 month,2 month,4 month,6 month). Clinical signs and symptoms were observed at 3 time points(treat for 0 month,2 month,6 month).2. Long-term effects:Divided 80 cases which were over 2 years of Graves disease of phlegm fire stagnation syndrome patients into 4 groups (20 for each group), western medicine group a (patients alone with western medicine for 2 years who have been discontinued take), integrated traditional and western medicine group a (patients combined western medicine with Yinjiadan treatment for 2 years who has been discontinued take), western medicine group b (patients alone with western medicine for 2 years and keep taking), integrated traditional and western medicine group b (patients combined western medicine with Yinjiadan treatment for 2 years, still continue to take), compare the recurrence or rebounce rate, recurrence or rebounce interval time, severity of the disease and TRAb.Results 1.Short-term effects:(1) curative effect:There was no significant difference in disease curative effect of two group (P> 0.05). Significant difference was founded between treatment group and control group in syndrome curative effect (P< 0.05). Total effective rate was 96.7% in treatment group, and it is higher than that of the control group which was 86.7%. (2) Thyroid hormone function:① After treatment, treatment group TSH (0.67±0.44) uIu/mL VS (0.04±0.05)uIu/mL, FT3 (3.48±0.78) pg/mL VS(8.36±4.68)pg/mL, FT4(0.80±0.17) ng/dL VS(2.16±1.25) ng/dL; control group TSH (0.34±0.76) uIu/mL VS (0.04±0.46) uIu/mL; FT3(3.99±1.14) pg/mL VS(7.70±5.32) pg/mL; FT4(1.00±0.57) ng/dL VS(2.07±1.41) ng/dL. TSH of two groups were both increased after treatment (P< 0.05), there was no significant difference between the two groups (P> 0.05). FT3 and FT4 in the two groups were decreased when compared with no treatment (P< 0.05). After treat for 4 months and 6 months, FT3 and FT4 in treatment group was superiors than the control group (P< 0.05). (3)Adverse reactions in the treatment group were less than those in the control group, the two groups were significant (P < 0.05).2.Long term curative effect:(1)Recurrence rate of western medicine group a were 40% (8/20),which better than 65%(13/20) of integrated traditional and western medicine group a, with significant different. Rebounce rate of western medicine group b were 50%(10/20),which better than 60%(12/20) of integrated traditional and western medicine group b. There was difference between two groups (P< 0.05). (2) Severity of the disease:There was no significant difference between integrated traditional and western medicine group and western medicine in severity of the disease(P>0.05).(3) Recurrence interval of integrated traditional and western medicine group a was (29.37±24.13) month which were longer than western medicine group a (13.38±9.42) month. Rebounce interval of integrated traditional and western medicine group b was (27.6±17.41) month which were longer than western medicine group b (14.66±8.09) month. There was difference between integrated traditional and western medicine group and western medicine inrecurrence interval(P< 0.05).(4)TRAb of integrated traditional and western medicine group are lower than western medicine group with difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Yinjiadan can improve the short term curative effect and reduce the long-term recurrence rate, prolong the time of recurrence or rebounce interval and lower levels of TRAb.
