Purpose:The purpose of this study is to explore and validate the prognostic facors in patients with Hodgkin Lymphoma (HL) treated in the Second Affiliated Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine. Methods:Retrospective analysis was performed on 52 patients with HL, among them 31 (59.6%) received chemotherapy alone, and 19 (36.5%) received chemotherapy combined with irradiation. The objective response rate (ORR) and complete remission (CR) rate were calculated, and progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) were analyzedusing Kaplan-Meier method. Results:Univariate analysis demonstrated that no B symptoms(P=0.036), absence of extranodal invovlment (P=0.000) and Ann Arbor stage Ⅰ-Ⅱ (P=0.009) remarkably prolong PFS in HL patients. Age less than 45 (P=0.039), no B symptoms(P=0.020), no extranodal lesion (P=0.003) and chemotherapy cycles≥6significantly increase OS. In patients with advanced stage HL, the lymphocte count≥0.6×109/L or>8% whtie blood cell countcan remarkably prolong the PFS o, P=0.027. However, no factor retained independent significance on multivariate regression analysis. Conclusion:Both B symptoms and extranodal invovlment areprognositic for PFS and OS in HL, while significance of other factors varies in eartly or advanced stage HL. International prognostic score (IPS) has predictive value for OS in patients wtih advanced stage of HL.
