Alcoholic liver disease(ALD) has become the leading causes of cirrhosis and liver-related death. Excessive alcohol use can not only determine the intestinal mucosa and increase the intestinal permeability, but also change the composition of the gut microbiota. It leads to the dysbalance of the intestinal which presented by the decrease of the commensal microbiome and the flourish of the G- microbiome. may contribute to the abnormal gut-liver axisin ALD. There is also an increasement of the bacterial endotoxin in the portal circulation, and this further demonstrates the vital role of the gut-liver axis in the pathogenesis of the ALD. This review will summarize the recent advancements and pathogenic mechanisms in the gut-liver axis in relate to ALD. |
