Objective:1. Researching on the monitoring results of individual radiation dose to radiation worker who working for nuclear technology utilization units in 2014 at Suzhou, looking into the situation of nuclear technology in Suzhou C ity in 2014, and providing a scientific basis for the health manageme nt of radiation workers;2. Grasping the unusual data of monitoring values about individual radiation dose to radiation worker, analyzing the reasons, providing technical reference for radiation regulatory authority. Methods:Using thermo- luminescence method to monitor the radiation dose for all radiation workers who working for nuclear technology organizations individually in 2014 at Suzhou. Using the method of epidemiological prevalence study to make a questionnaire survey for all radiation workers worked in nuclear technology organizations. The investigation content included: gender、age、seniority、type of radiation and so on. The data of the monitoring results were entered by EXCEL2010. The database was established after, and analyzed by SPSS19.0 statistical analysis software.Results:1. 1185 nuclear technology organization were investigated, involving 9190 radiation workers. There are 794 institutions with nuclear technology industry utilization, which have 5439 radiation workers, and 391 institutions with nuclear technology medical utilization, which have 3751 radiation workers.2. The results of questionnaire survey show the mean annual radiation dose is 0.376 mSv in 2014, which of 8998 people were under 1mSv, 174 people were between 1mSv and 5mSv, 13 people were between 5mSv and 20 mSv, and 5 people were between 20 mSv and 50 mSv.3. Analysis the influencing factors of individual dose for radiation workers, mobile flaw detection staff per capita annual dose equivalents is highest. There was no significant in different gender、age to individual dose for radiation workers(P > 0.05), while there was significant in radiation workers who more than ten years seniority(P < 0.05), and was positively correlated. Then there was significant in different type of radiation(P < 0.05).4. The difference of mean annual effective dose for radiation workers caused by different nuclear technology industrial type is significant in statistics(P< 0.05). With comparison, radiation workers engaged in mobile flaw detection suffered most nuclear radiation with highest mean annual effective dose, the difference of mean annual effective dose compared with other types of industrial applicability radiation workers is significant.5. The difference of mean annual effective dose for radiation workers caused by different nuclear technology medical type is significant in statistics(P< 0.05). With comparison, radiation workers engaged in radiation therapy suffered most nuclear radiation with highest per capita annual dose, the difference of mean annual effective dose compared with other types of medical applicability radiation workers is significant.Conclusion:1. The vast majority of the nuclear technology organizations do well work on radiation protection in Suzhou City in 2014. 98% of the radiation workers’ per capita annual dose was less than 1mSv.2. After multivariate analysis, there was no significant in individual dose for radiation workers with different gender and age(P > 0.05).3. There was significant in radiation workers who worked for more than ten years(P < 0.05). The nuclear technology institutions must to strengthen radiation staff training for radiation workers over ten years seniority to enhance their awareness o f radiation safety.4. There was significant in different type of radiation work in mean annual effective dose(P< 0.05). The individual dose of radiation workers who manufacture radiation source is higher than others, so we must to strengthen radiation staff training for them.5. There was no significant in different ray device and sealed radioactive sources(P > 0.05). There was significant in different unsealed radioactive sources(P < 0.05).6. The difference of mean annual effective dose for radiation workers caused by different nuclear technology industrial type is significant in statistics(P< 0.05). The radiation workers engaged in radiation therapy suffered most nuclear radiation with highest mean annual effective dose.7. The difference of mean annual effective dose for radiation workers caused by different nuclear technology medical type is significant in statistics(P< 0.05), The radiation workers engaged in radiation therapy suffered most nuclear radiation with highest mean annual effective dose.8. Administrations should focus on mobile flaw detection, radiation processing and radiation therapy.
