Objective Summarize surgical experience of 12 years in the diagnosis and treatment of splenic tumors,to improve the level of diagnosis and treatment of splenic tumors and improve the prognosis of patients with splenic tumors. Methods The clinica data of 61 cases of splenic tumors who had been hospitalized in the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University were analyzed retrospectively from January,2003 to December,2015.Results (1)In this study,51 cases were benign (83.61%),including splenic cyst(32 cases),splenic hemangioma(8 cases),splenic lymphangioma (4 cases),splenic hamartoma(3 cases),splenic aneurysms(2 cases),splnic vascular tumors(2 cases); Therr were 10 cases of malignant tumors (16.39%),7 cases of primary splenic malignant tumors were both malignant lymphoma, splenic metastatic tumors in 3 cases.(2)Benign tumors underwent operatinol treatment,4 cases of splenic malignant tumor underwent splenectomy combined with chemotherapy,3 cases of splenic malignant tumor underwent bone marrowb biopsy combined with chemotherapy, dissection of the original neoplasm plus splenectomy in 3 splenic metastasis cases.(3)In 61 patients,53 routine B ultrasound,56 routine CT examination.B ultrasound could achieve an accuracy of 94.34%(50/53) in tumor localization, and that of CT examination was 100% (56/56). The accuracy of B ultrasound and CT examination in diagnosing splenic tumors were 33.96% and 64.29%.(4) Benign tumors were followed up for 34 people, including two cases of death due to other causes, the rest has been a good recovery, the longest follow-up of 7 years,17 cases were lost of follow up.7 primary malignant tumor patients were followed up fo 4 people, including two cases were have survived 4 years,7 years, were splenectomy parallel adjuvant chemotherapy and 2 died.3 cases were lost of follow up.Conclusions(1)Spleen tumor incidence is low, with benign tumors, malignant tumors are relatively rare.(2)Imaging examination is the main method to diagnose splenic tumors.preoperative localization of the lesion could be easily achieved for splenic tumors, but the accurate diagnosis of their nature is not so easy.(3)Surgery is the main procedure performed in treating splenic tumors.Early diagnosis, radical surgery and postoperative combined therapy is the important means to improve the prognosis of Splenic lymphoma.
