Background:osteoarthritis, also known as degenerative arthritis, is the most common joint disease in the elderly.Refers to the women of menopause a period of transition from growth period as old age, generally refers to ovarian function begin to decline until the last menstrual period, is also called the menopause transition, age between 45 to 55 years old. The changing hormone level lead to the change of inflammatory factors, and the occurrence of osteoarthritis development and the change of articular cavity inflammation factors related, at the same time, osteoarthritis is a kind of postmenopausal women a sharp rise in incidence of a disease.Women postmenopausal hormone level changing lead to the change of inflammatory factors and joint development has significant correlation.But female hormone levels in the body has changed during menopause, so whether the change of inflammatory markers in women from menopause began, the few literature reports.Methods:choose between December 2014 and December 2015 to the first affiliated hospital of guangxi medical university joint surgical treatment of appropriate research object is divided into four groups, group 1 (osteoarthritis) women, aged> 60m, menopaused, osteoarthritis patients,40 cases.Group 2 (menopause) for ages between 45 to 55 years old women, menstrual disorders, but not the menopaused,36 cases.Group 3 (control group) men are men aged> 60 years, osteoarthritis patients,20 cases.Group 4 (normal control group) for age < 45 years old female, menstruation is normal,10 patients with knee no special discomfort.All objects serum IL-1, IL-6, TNF alpha, ESR and CRP levels and joint fluid, IL-6, IL-1 in the level of TNF alpha.Results:the serum results in detection of serum IL-1, IL-6, TNF alpha level in the group of normal control group, menopause and osteoarthritis are increasing gradually, the normal group, menopause and comparison results between osteoarthritis group has obvious differences.The levels in osteoarthritis are higher than the menopause group and the normal group.The levels in the menopause group are higher than the normal group. The ESR results, menopause group and normal control group no difference between the comparison results, menopause ESR level is simile to the osteoarthritis group but higher than normal level. In CRP results, menopause group is higher than the normal control group.Combination of menopause osteoarthritis group comparison, menopause group is lower than the osteoarthritis.CRP levels and menopause group is higher than normal levels of CRP.Conclusion:this study finally reflect women from menopausal hormone level began to change, since menopause, the IL-6, IL-1 of TNF alpha level in serum and joint fluid has already started to rise, inflammatory factors such as has not reached the level of disease or cause pain.But, IL-6, IL-1 the change of inflammatory factors such as TNF alpha will accelerate the rate of knee joint cartilage destruction, and aggravate the joint cavity synovial inflammation levels, cause the onset of osteoarthritis greatly ahead of time.Menopausal women ESR levels in serum does not obvious rise, the change of inflammatory markers had the body is not up to the level of the pathogenic.
