Objective To explore clinical features and characters of diagnosis and treatment of IV cardiorenal syndrome(CRS), and analyze the risk factors of IV CRS.Methods In this retrospective analysis, we investigated and analyzed of 166 IV CRS cases in the first affiliated hospital of guangxi medical university. Analysis of their epidemiological data、assistant examination、diognosis、 treatment and other factors, and comparing those with simple chronic kidney disease (CKD), and analysis of the risk factors of IV CRS.Result A total of 166 IV CRS cases, among which 69 cases of elderly patients (41.57%), a total of 10 cases of deaths (6.02%). Primary glomerulonephritis is the major pathogeny of IV CRS, followed by hypertensive nephropathy、diabetic nephropathy, etc. The major clinic signs are edema、 oliguria、dyspnea、cough、weakness, ect. Echocardiography present left ventricular systolic and/or diastolic dysfunction. Most patients with interventricular septum and left ventricular posterior wall thickening (93.69%、 92.79%).IV CRS patients are with decreased of hemoglobin and glomerular filtration rate, increased of blood urea nitrogen and cystatin C, often with glycosuria and cylindruria, differences were statistical significance (P<0.05) The results of multivariate stepwise regression analysis showed that IV CRS was significantly associated with age、smoking、high blood pressure、diabetes、 hyperlipidaemia、glycosuria and cystatin C.Conclusion The elderly accounted for most of the IV CRS cases. Primary glomerulonephritis is the major pathogeny of IV CRS. Most of the IV CRS patients with interventricular septum and left ventricular posterior wall thickening, left ventricular systolic and/or diastolic dysfunction. The risk factors of IV CRS are the age、smoking、high blood pressure、diabetes、 hyperlipidaemia、glycosuria、cystatin C, etc.
