Purpose:to detectation the serum homocysteine level of type 2 diabetic cerebral infarction patients and study the mechanism. Methods:choosing 155 cases of those hospitalized patients with type 2 diabetes (T2DM) between April 2015 and February 2016 in our hospital, and dividing these T2DM patients into two groups, the group of T2DM patients with cerebral infarction and the group of T2DM patients without cerebral infarcti6n,51 cases in physical examination center as the normal control group. According to the serum Hcy levels of T2DM patients with cerebral infarction, dividing it into normal Hcy group and higher Hcy group.Making detectation of folic acid, vitamin B12, fasting plasma glucose, postprandial 2 hours blood sugar, glycosylated hemoglobin, cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), systolic pressure, diastolic blood pressure, body mass index (BMI).Results:the Hcy level of T2DM patients with cerebral infarction goup and the T2DM patients without cerebral infarction group was obviously higher than that of normal control group. the Hcy levels of T2DM patients with cerebral infarction group was higher than that of T2DM patients without cerebral infarction group, differences were statistically significant (P< 0.05). The levels of folic acid and VitB12 between the normal Hcy group and higher Hcy group was no statistical difference.Correlation analysis showed that Hcy levels of T2DM patients with cerebral infarction was no correlation among various factors. Conclusion:the Hcy levels of T2DM patients with cerebral infarction was rise, the study of the causes of diabetes high Hcy may has nothing to do with the lack of folic acid and VitB 12.
