Objective:Patients with chronic kidney disease stage 1-3a with exogenous evil of heat were treated with the by the modified QiaoHe decoction. The development of exogenous evil heat syndrome in patients were observed to evaluate the clinical effect. At the same time, the effect of the modified QiaoHe decoction on renal function was studied on.Methods:66 patients with CKD 1-3a Stage with exogenous evil of heat syndromewere divided into treatment groupwith 33 cases and control group with 33 cases. The chronic kidney disease of the whole patients were treated with modern western medicine treatment of chronic kidney disease as a routine treatment. And the exogenous evil of heat syndrome in patients in control group were treated by modern western medicine. While, the the other group were treated by the modified QiaoHe decoctiondaily a dose.14 days as 1 course of treatment in the two groups.During the treatment,2 patients in the control group and 2 patients in the treatment group were excluded. After the 3-day-treatment, the TCM clinical syndrome curative effect of patient’s exogenous evil of heat syndrome was evaluated. After the 7-day-treatment, the experimental index of Creactive protein(CRP) was evaluated. After the 14-day-treatment, the experimental index of Creactive protein(CRP) serum creatinine (Scr), the glomerular filtration rate (eGFR), urinary protein quantitation, red blood cells, transferrin and immunoglobulinwas evaluated. The change of the experimental indexes were compared.Results:①After the 3-day-treatment,there is a statistical difference between two g roupson the TCM clinical syndrome curative effect of patient’s exogenous evil of heat syndrome(P<0.01). ②After the 7-day-treatment, the CRP was declined in both two gr oups(P<0.05), but comparison of the CRP descent levels between the treatment group and the control group had no statistical difference (P>0.05). ③After 14-day-treatment, there was a statistical difference between two groups on course of exogenous evil of heatsyndrome(P<0.05). ④After 14-day-treatment, comparison among the control groups, the urinary protein quantitation, red blood cells, transferrin were higher than before (P<0.05),Scr, eGFR and immunoglobulin were no significant difference (P>0.05). ⑤Af ter 14-day-treatment,comparison among the treatmentgroups, Scr, urinary red blood cel Is, transferrin were lower than before (P<0.05), eGFR was higher than before (P<0.05), the urinary protein quantitation, immunoglobulin were no significant difference (P>0.0 5). ⑥After 14-day-treatment, comparison between the treatment group and the control group, the CRP and urinary immunoglobulin were no significant difference (P>0.05), t he effect of treatment group was better than the control group in the Scr, eGFR, urin ary protein quantitation, red blood cell, microalbumin and transferring(P<0.05).Conclusion: ①The clinical curative effect on the exogenous evil of heat syndromeof the modified QiaoHe decoction is better than the simple modern western medicine therapy in patients with CKDl-3a stage.②There is no difference in the effect on CRP with two therapeutic method.③Renal injury is aggravated, which is observed in control group. One reason can be thatthe exogenous evil of heat injuries the kidney throughthe channels and collaterals. The other one is that some western medicines may have renal toxicity. ④Renal injury can be alleviated, which is observed in patients treated by the modified QiaoHe decoction. ⑤The exogenous evil of heat has no influence on the urinary immunoglobulin in the CKD1-3 stage patients, which means it does not impact on renal tubular.
