The patients accept treatment one time a day, and take consecutive 3 times in a course. Complete treatment has 3 courses, and pause 1 day between every course. According to clinical symptoms integrals and Visual Analogous Scale (VAS) scores of before and after treatments evaluate the effect and analysis the clinical mechanism of the treatment by using the SPSS17.0 software.ResultsBefore the treatment, the difference of VAS score between the two groups were not significant (P>0.05), the data were comparable. After adopted each acupuncture method, the VAS scores decreased in both group, and the downward trend in observed group was more remarkable and there was significant difference between the two groups (P<0.01), which indicated that Dong-Qi acupuncture for De Quervain’s disease patients had better pain-lessening effect. According to clinical symptoms integrals, there was no significant difference between the two groups before the treatment (P>0.05). After 3 courses of treatment, the pain, tenderness pain, swelling, and the wrist joint function scores were changed. Except for swelling, the treatment group had advantages in ameliorating the clinical symptoms. According to the clinical efficacy, in treatment group, the clinical recovery was 12 cases, markedly effective 16 cases, effective 1 cases, ineffectiveness 0 cases, the effective rate was 100.0%, while in control group, the clinical recovery was 3, markedly effective 5 cases, effective 19 cases, ineffectiveness 3 cases, the effective rate was 90.00%.
