Summarization Of Clinical Experience Of Professor Zhang Xiaochun On Treatment Of Metastasis Bone Pain

Objective:To summarize experience of Professor Zhang Xiaochun on clinical treatment of metastatic bone pains and provide new thoughts and methods for syndrome differentiation of traditional Chinese medicine on metastatic bone pains.Methods:The first part:The first review was about acquaintance with knowledge of modern medicine on pathogenesis, clinical symptoms and treatment of metastatic bone pains through referring to literature material. And the second review was about studying understanding of name of disease, etiology and pathogenesis and syndrome differentiation and treatment of metastatic bone pain from physician of Traditional Chinese Medicine in past dynasties by literature review. The second part:After a year of learning from Professor Zhang Xiaochun in outpatient and inpatient service, ideology of Professor Zhang Xiaochun on syndrome differentiation of metastatic bone pain and characteristic treatment methods in TCM and analysis of commonly used herbs were summed up.Results:Professor Zhang Xiaochun has engaged in treating malignant tumor by TCM therapy for nearly 30 years, and formed his own unique experience on the treatment of metastatic bone pain. Professor Zhang Xiaochun put forward views of "distinguishing stages of disease", emphasizing combination of distinguishing stages of disease with differentiation of disease and syndrome differentiation and treatment. Because metastatic bone pain was in the middle-late stage of malignant tumor, he thought it should be treated mainly with invigorating the spleen and nourishing the kidney. He insisted that protecitng function of spleen and stomach should be paid attention to in the treatment of metastatic bone pain and traditional Chinese medicine should be used in the whole treatment process. In addition, he thought external treatments of traditional chinese medicine should be applied in the clinical treament of metastatic bone pain; And he considered major causes of metastatic bone pain were deficiency of the kidney, deficiency of the spleen and cold, phlegm and blood stasis and mutual effect among cold, phlegm and blood stasis and so on; Professor Zhang Xiaochun has divided types of metastatic bone pain into four syndromes including syndrome of spleen and kidney deficiency, syndrome of stagnation of yin-cold and syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis and syndrome of accumulation of phlegm, which can be treated with strengthening the spleen and supplementing the kidney, invigorating qi to relieve pain and warming yang to smooth meridians, dispelling cold to relieve pain and activating blood to remove stasis, promoting qi circulation to relieve pain and eliminating phlegm to smooth meridians, dissipating masses to relieve pain, respectively; Professor zhang advocated performing internal and external treatment simultaneously. According to the theory of "there is no difference between the internal and external treatment", he sum up a special prescription with advantages of anti-cancer, detoxicating and relieving pain to treat metastases bone pain, which obtained a good clinical curative effect. Combination use with three ladders analgesic, Professor Zhang Xiaochun attached great importance to prevention and treatment of adverse effect caused by three ladders analgesic, which contribute to control metastatic bone pain effectively, improve the quality of life of patients and effectively lower degree of adverse reactions caused by three ladders analgesic.Conclusions:Career in medicine of Professor Zhang Xiaochun has lasted for nearly 30 years, and who has formed his own unique experience on the treatment of metastatic bone pain, which has achieved a good clinical curative effect. Experience of Professor Zhang Xiaochun on treating metastatic bone pain played a role in strongly guiding clinical practice and practical value and provided new method for clinical awareness and syndrome differentiation and treatment of metastatic bone pain.
