Objective:Using the Chinese medicine—"Bu Shen Huo Xue"to explore the effect on coronary heart disease (CHD) from the aspect of clinical efficacy and METS. If the Chinese medicine can reduce the number and the degree of angina pectoris, improve the prognosis of coronary heart disease and enhance athletic ability,it will be confirmed usefully.Method:60 patients with "Xue Yu" of coronary heart disease from December 2014 to January 2016 in the Chinese medicine hospital of Jiangsu province were selected and divided into two groups (treatment and control group). Patients with stable angina, unstable angina after one week, myocardial infarction or PCI before, matched condition. Conventional western medical theraphy was given to both groups at the same time. It included beta-blocker, isosorbide mononitrate, antiplatelet agent,and lipid regulation. The treatment group was added with"BXHX"(huangj ing20g,pianjianghuang 10g,xialilingpi20g,honghua20g,sanqifen5g) soup. Through the way of observing the clinical symptom, curative effct,6-MWT and METS which was estimated by the Veterans Specific Activity Questionnaire,the "Bu Shen Huo Xue" was proved that it is useful for CHD.Results:1.The curative effect of the control group and the treatment group had significant difference(p<0.05).The treatment group was better than the control group.2.In the study, the overall symptom had decreased both in the control group and treatment group(P<0.05).The treatment group was better than the control group.3.The symptom of chest pain and tightness, palpitation and shortness of breath, fatigue, tongue and pulse condition was relieved in the control group (P<0.05),but the backache and dizziness and tinnitus.In the treatment group, all of symptom except the backache, and the tongue and pulse condition were relieved (P<0.05). The symptom of chest pain and tightness, and fatigue, was relieved better in the treatment group(p<0.05). The symptom of the shortness of breath was relieved more better than the control group (P<0.01).4.The distance in the 6-MWT was increased more in the treatment group(p<0.05).5.The METS estimated by Veterans Specific Activity Questionnaire was improved more in the treatment group than the control group(p<0.05).
