Aim:To increase the understanding of the syndrome,clinical manifestation, laboratory examination, and imaging examination method of Cushing syndrome,in order to increase the reliability of the diagnosis, reduce the possible misdiagnosis.Method:To summarize one clinical case misdiagnosed of Cushing disease, and review the related literature, analyzes and summarizes.Results:The clinical symptoms of the patients was atypical, the laboratory and imaging examination point to Cushing’s syndrome, but does not support the diagnosis of Cushing’s disease, cursory operation was acted without bilateral inferior petrosal sinus sampling, finally resulting in error diagnosis, and the patients have to undergo the operation once more.Conclusion:The clinical symptoms of Cushing’s syndrome is usually not typical, the inspection result is prone to false negative, and whether the diagnosis is correct or not has a great influence in the treatment and prognosis of the disease, so it is necessary to make great efforts to improve the examination, comprehensive analysis, and treated it with great caution.
