| ObjectiveIn this study, aim to observe the clinical efficacy by combining ear-vein-bloodletting therapy with acupuncture on idiopathic facial palsy of wind-heat wind,evaluating the efficacy of the ear-vein-bloodletting therapy in the treatment of idiopathic facial palsy objectively, providing reference of its clinical treatment application and promotion.MethodsIn this study, all of the 60 patients were from the out-patient acupuncture department of the NO.1 Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of TCM during April,2015 to January,2016, which were properfor the study and volunteered to take part in. Basing on the basic treatment, the 60 patients were randomized into two different groups, acu-group(30 cases) as control group and acu&ear-vein-bloodletting group(30 cases) as treatment group. In the control group, using the routine acupuncture treatment, chose the main point:Yangbai(GB14)-Through-Yuyao(EX-HN4), Taiyang(EX-HN5)、Cuanzhu(BL12)、 Qianzheng、Yingxiang(LI20)、Dicang(ST4)-Through-Jiache(ST6)、 Jiachengjia(RN24)、Zhongzhu(ST13)、Hegu(LI4),wind-heat type adding Quchi (LI11). During the early stage of the process of the disease, using light and shallow needing skills, with electro-acupunture of dilatational wave. And after the course of two weeks, using strong and deep needing skills by normal reinforcing and reducing way, with electro-acupunture of continuous wave.20 to 30 min per time,every two days for 3 times per week is one course of treatment. And all the 60 patients were treat for 4 courses of treatment. In the treatment group, adding the ear-vein-bloodletting thrapy to the acu-group treatment in both sides of the ears alternately. Each patient should be evaluated for 3 times:at the time when the patient came to the hospitial firstly before the treatment, the day of course of two weeks and at the moment of finishing the treatment of 4 courses.Using House-Brackmann facial nerve grading standard, modified Portmann score standard and facial disability index(FDI) scale as indicators of eddicacy evaluation, to evaluate the effect of the two groups. Using spss20.0 software to do the stadistical analysis work after finishing the date collection.ResultIn my study, collecting datas for 3 times:at the time when the patient came to the hospitial firstly before the treatment, the day of course of two weeks and at the moment of finishing the treatment of 4 courses (marked as T1、 T2、T3).1、Comparison the general data between two groups, including gender age、 course of disease、of the H-Brating、Portmann score、FDI score, by statistical analysis, the value of P is larger than 0.05, which means the two groups was comparable.2、The total effective rate of two groups is 90% and 80%, it means that the two groups have no significant difference by rank sum test. It is said that both the treatment group and the control group are effective, but it cannot be said the effect of the treatment group is better than the control group.3、In the H-B rating, the values of T2 and T3 between two group were no statistical specially some differences. And the two values within each group is valuable. It is said that both of the treatment in two group is effective, but it is not sure that the treatment group was better than the control group.4、The values of T2 and T3 within each group is valuable in the Portmann score. The difference between T2 and T1 is valuable, while T3 and T1 is unvaluable.It means that both of the treatment group and the control group is valuable and it is not much difference. However, in the T2 time, the treantment of the treatment group is much more valuable than the control group.5、For the FDI score, including FDIP scores and FDIS score, The values of T2 and T3 within each group is valuable. The difference between T2 and T1, T3 and T1,were no statistical specially some differences. It is said that both of the treatment in two group is effective, but the total effect is not much difference.ConclusionBoth of the combining ear-vein-bloodletting therapy with acupuncture and conventional acupuncture in treating the idiopathic facial palsy of wind-heat wind are effective. By combining the ear-vein-bloodletting thrapy, the effect is better than the conventional acupuncture in improving the facial nerve function and transition from the stationary phase to the convalescence in improving portmann score. For improving the H-B rating and the total efficiency of two group, the curative effect is close. |
