The Analysis Of The Clinical Efficience Of Postauricular Methylperdinisolone Injection On Patients With Sudden Hearing Loss

OBJECTIVE Through analysis the therapeutic effect of postauricular methylperdinisolone injection compare with the dexamethasone intravenous use on patients with sudden hearing loss to find the best way of using glucocorticoidMETHODS 78 ears in patients suffering from sudden hearing loss were divided into treatment group and control group.There are 35 ears in treatment group and 43 ears in control group.Patients in treatment group was injected 20 mg of methylperdinisolone sodium succinate through mastoid area subperiosteum once a time every one days(totally 3 times) and tanakan 、 mecobalbmin by oral administration for 2weeks,the control group was treated with dexamethasone through vein and tanakan、mecobalbmin by oral administration for 2 weeks.Brainstem electric response audiometry of all patients were examined before and after treament.RESULTS In the treatment group,the effect cases were 28 ears(80%),control group were 23 ears(53%).There was statistical difference between two group(p<0.05). The treatment group average air conduction audibility threshold is31.23±20.82,the control group is 19.90±17.76,p<0.05,there is statistical difference between two group(p<0.05)。The latest standard of multi-center study pointed out that it is need to separately analysis the decline of hearing according to different types,so we analysis result according to the value of every single frequency hearing.We find that at the full frequency the improve of hearing of the experimental group is31.23±20.82,the control group is 19.90±17.76,at 250 Hz the experimental group is 30.83±24.55 the control group is18.60±16.20 p<0.05,at 500 Hz the experimental group is 35.57±27.43 the control group is 21.05±18.53,at 1000 Hz the experimental group is 40.02±22.13 the control group is 30.15±19.88,there is statistical difference between two group(p<0.05), To test and verify the situation of different degree of hearing loss we divided into mild, moderate, severe and extreme hearing loss the result is the mild and severe hearing loss,p>0.05,there is no statistical difference between two groups,moderate and extreme hearing loss p<0.05,there is statistical difference between two groups.CONCLUSION It is effective to treat sudden hearing loss with postauricular methylperdinisolone injection especial to moderate and extreme hearing loss,it can be recommended used in clinical.
