Objective To study the expression of CD147 in colorectal cancer patients, and its relation with the clinical pathologic factors and prognosis of postoperation colorectal cancer patients,it is indicated that whether CD147 can be effective clinical index.Materials and methods 124 patients with colorectal cancer underwent surgery from January 2012 to December 2013 at Bengbu Medical College Affiliated Taixing Hospital general surgery. The clinical data of patients were retrospectively analyzed to investigate the association of CD147 expression with the clinicopathological data, postoperative stress and recovery and prognosis of cancer patients by immunohistochemical method. Results Experimental result are classified as negative, weak positive, moderation positive and strong positive. In the tumor tissue group, the expression of CD147 were negative in 46 cases, weak positive in 35 cases, moderate positive in 26 cases, strong positive in 17 cases. The total positive expression rate of CD147 were 62.9%,it was higher than 23.4% of the normal tissue, the difference was obviously statistically significant(P<0.01).The differences of positive expression rate of CD147 in gender, age, tumor location, tumor size and tumor differentiation were not statistically significant(P>0.05), but the difference in the lymph node metastasis, distant metastasis, tumor infiltration depth and TMN stages were statistically significant(P<0.05).Single factor analysis of variance showed the expression of CD147 was associated with postoperative leukocyte count, neutrophil count, plasma albumin, aeration time and hospitalization days(P>0.05). Kaplan Meier analysis showed that CD147 expression is related to the short-time survival rates of colorectal cancer patients, the higher the CD147 expression in tumor cell tend to the shorter survival. The differences of the expression of CD147 and postoperative patients with short-term survival was obviously statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion The high expression of CD147 was confirmed with colorectal cancer and it is related to the metastasis of colorectal cancer and can decrease the survival rates and become a tumor marker for the prognosis of patients with colorectal cancer.
