The Ren Ying-Qi Kou pulse diagnostic methods is high-frequency appearance in 《 The Yellow Emperor’s Inner Classic》 who is unique but has lost to the world. The detail explanation can be found in 《Jin Fu)) and 《Zhong Shi》 from 《The Spiritual Pivot》 and partly in other chapters. But there is a huge divergence in the application of it due to the unified pulse position. At present, there are two mainstream points, one considering the Ren Ying location is artery at neck, the Qi Kou is Cun Kou at lung meridian; Another point derived from 《The Pulse Classic》, the Ren Ying location in neck is instead of Cun Kou in the left hand of lung meridian. It is the uncertainty that cause the confusion in location taking, comparison standard and theoretical basis. The objects of this essay is to recreate the true colors of taking pulse method of Ren Ying-Qi Kou, restore the correct way of diagnostic methods, clarify its comparative standards, right connotation and theoretical basis, restore the continuity and development in the 《The Yellow Emperor’s Inner Classic》, evolution, and the process of diaspora, and to explore its clinical significance. This paper based on the basic theory of TCM, by the methods of literature research, comprehensive analysis from 《The Yellow Emperor’s Inner Classic》 to modern representative literatures about Ren Ying-Qi Kou intake pulse method. To carefully analyze the various views and refining, mainly master in the acknowledgement of people meet affectionately clinical point of view and theory of interpretation. Combined with the medical history and philology to re-examine the early literature, from the angle of evolution development of Ren Ying-Qi Kou pulse method for further consideration, analyses the reason of people meet intake pulse method change and essence. The main conclusion:First, consulted relevant text of 《The Yellow Emperor’s Inner Classic》 and the classical literature, the author thinks that the appellation of location where taking pulse in the Qin and Han dynasties is relatively chaos. Such as Qi Kou, Mai Kou, Cun Kou. And its position is not the asserted in 《Canon On Eighty-One Difficult Issues《 and after referring to the hand of the lunar Cun Kou, but widely exists in the limbs ankle wrist.Second, through the in-depth analysis, comparison and interpretation, the author thinks that the "Bei" and the "Sheng" in 《Jin Fu》 《Zhong Shi》 is not synonym. "Sheng" is a fundamental difference between the meanings of "Bei":"Bei" is orders of magntiude describe the size between Ren Ying Mai in neck and Fu Yang Mai in foot; "Sheng" is used to describe the plentiful coefficient of left and right hands cunkou at 1 millimeter location of styloid process of radius.Third, combination of the development process of pulse diagnostic methods and difference between "Bei" and "Sheng", the author thinks that the location of Ren Ying Mai is at neck and Qi Kou is at foot named Fu Yang Mai Kou that described in 《Jin Fu》 and the standard is the "Bei". However, the location of Ren Ying and Qi Kou has shifted to the hands, the standard is "Sheng". "Bei" and "Sheng" is an inevitable product what the pulse diagnostic methods form inheritance in the process of evolution.Forth, comb relevant literature, the author found that the evolution process of 《Jin Fu》 and 《Zhong Shi》 is a epitome what the change of methods named Bian zhen to just Cun Kou at hands alone. The ancients through that the pulse at hands can reflect the change of Jing Mai, just like the Ren Ying Qi Kou at neck and foot. So the method of diagnose integrated into just taking pulse at Cun Kou of hands, it also promotes the develop from 《Jin Fu》 to 《Zhong Shi》Fifth, from the aspects of TCM Jing Mai theory, probes into the intersection of 《Treatise on Cold Damage》 six-channel syndrome differentiation with the theory of Ren Ying-Qi Kou, and we may can extend the method of taking pulse in 《Treatise on Cold Damage》. In the end, we analyze briefly the reason why it lost and the process how it lost.
