Health Literacy Status Of Kindergarten Teachers In Jilin Province Intervention Effect Evaluation

Objective:To make clear the status of health literacy of the kindergarten teachers in Jilin province and find out their basic health literacy level. To explore the influence factors of health literacy and evaluate the effect of health literacy intervention to the teachers.Methods:It is an experimental study on inequality in the control group of before-after design, using cluster sampling method in ten citys of Jilin province, sush as Changchun、Jilin、Tonghua、Liaoyuan、Siping、 Baishan、Songyuan、Baicheng、Baishan、Yanji and Changbai Mountain protected areas.633 teachers receive and finish the Questionnaire Papers, but 622 of them are licensed. It contains general demographic characteristics questionnaire, health literacy assessment questionnaire and self efficacy evaluation. Factors of demographic characteristics are analyzed through the test of homogeneity of proportions, test, square card test, single factor variance analysis comparison of health literacy and self-efficacy in the general demographic characteristics difference. Analyze the differences of regression, using average value, standard difference and paired samples test. And analyze the result of intervention effect on before-after self-efficacy health literacy. The persons required to have experience of participating must work more than one year.And the questionnaire is not limited to gender and age, their education level is between secondary specialized school to graduate student. What’s more, they should have good occupation morals, master professional knowledge and skills, clear consciousness and ability of expression or communication ability, and are willing to cooperate with the investigation. The teacher who passed the standard were assigned to intervention group and control group.310 cases of the control are not guided and intervened. Besides the intervention group of 312 cases accepted emergency knowledge、behavior guidance and training, including good abilities of brushing teeth, Heimlich emergency method (Heimlich), trauma treatment, fist aid calls and self-efficacy. The data collection time includes pre-intervention, intervention after 3 days and 3 months after the intervention. Data were analyzed by AMOS5.0, SPSS17.0 statistical software.Result:1. The results show that general condition, Age, education, and professional positions, work time distribution is not uniform, should strengthen the construction of the overall quality of kindergarten teachers, there are no significant differences between the general condition of the contrast group and the intervention group, have comparable.2. Kindergarten teachers’health literacy total score is (77.93±13.76). The hand washing brush score is (44.31±5.03), the Heimlich emergency method score is (11.26±3.32), the trauma treatment score is (7.48± 3.25), the fist aid calls score is (14.88±2.16), and the self-efficacy score is (24.21±5.34). Therefore, the teachers were all at the middle level of health literacy.3. The difference results shows that different socio-demographic characteristics of the health literacy with the situation is not the same. The teachers who have higher age, length of service for a long time health literacy ability are better; qualifications, job title, duties, professional influence the health literacy of teachers who should be noted the overall quality of the high teachers team construction. The results showed that self efficacy was positively related to the treatment of hand washing and brushing teeth, trauma, Haim Lidtke first aid, calling for help, total health literacy, with statistical difference (P≤0.05). Regression analysis showed that self-efficacy is brushing your teeth and wash your hands with Heimlich first aid, trauma, dialed telephone and general health skills were main influence factors, which may and self-efficacy is the high compliance from higher cognitive ability. In addition, age, education, professional, working age, position, also exist in the health skills of the impact factor (P≤0.05). So we should focus on improving male and female teachers proportion; pay attention to the psychological change of junior teachers; ease teachers job burnout, reduce turnover rate; self-efficacy cultivation; at the same time, we should strengthen the construction of teachers troop overall quality is particularly important.4. The pre-intervention group and the contrast group in health skills with self efficacy comparison results shows that there are no significant differences, have comparable, which is comparable. The score of intervention after 3 days is higher than the pre-intervention and intervention after three months, but the score of intervention after 3 months is still higher than pre-intervention score and maintain the situation optimistic, having significant difference (P≤0.05).Conclusion:1. The health literacy of kindergarten teachers of Jilin Province is at the middle level, there are many influencing factors. So kindergarten often appear infectious disease, accident injury phenomenon can not be found in time, the ability to avoid the risk is poor, the level of health literacy is low.2. The effect of health literacy factors of kindergarten teachers respectively includes:gender, age, level of education, the first degree, job, work experience, profession and titles self-efficacy.3.Higher self-efficacy, better health literacy. The government should train the kindergarten teachers and improve their health literacy.
