Expression And Significance Of USP4 And MMP2 In Early Squamous Cell Carcinoma Of The Cervix

Abstract/Summary:
Objective Through application pathology immunohistochemistry of SP method was used to detect the usp4 and MMP2 in early cervical squamous cell carcinoma tissue expression and their correlation analysis usp4 and MMP2 expression and clinicopathological correlation factors, study and early postoperative cervical squamous cell carcinoma patients with prognostic factors.Methods Collecting the 70 patients with early-stage cervical squamous cell carcinoma surgical specimens from patients with both pathology and immunohistochemistry(SP method), under the light microscope observation usp4 and MMP2 expression and the judgment result; statistics for research to analyze the usp4, MMP2 expression in cervical cancer tissues, cervical cancer in usp4 and MMP2 expression both in the correlation research; cervical cancer in usp4, MMP2 expression and the relationship between the clinical and pathological factors related to analysis and research and early cervical squamous cell carcinoma prognosis correlation.Results Compared with normal cervical tissues, USP4 protein and MMP2 protein were expressed in early cervical squamous cell carcinoma was significantly(P < 0.05), and USP4 and MMP2 expression were positively correlated(r=0.53, P < 0.05). Cervical cancer in usp4 expression and MMP2 expression respectively with lymph node metastasis and interstitial infiltration depth and is positively related(P < 0.05); cervical squamous cell carcinoma in usp4 expression and patient age, tumor size, histological grade independent(P > 0.05). USP4, MMP2 expression, patient’s age, pathological grading, cervical stromal invasion depth, local tumor size and lymph node metastasis were related to the prognosis of patients with early stage of cervical squamous cell carcinoma(P<0.05).Conclusion USP4 and MMP2 were highly expressed in the early stage of cervical squamous cell carcinoma, and its expression was closely related to the depth of invasion and lymph node metastasis of cervical squamous cell carcinoma. USP4 and MMP2 expression, patient’s age, pathological grading, cervical stromal invasion depth, local tumor size and lymph node metastasis are the prognostic factors of patients with early stage of cervical squamous cell carcinoma. Combined detection of USP4 and MMP2 expression levels, to determine the prognosis of patients with early stage cervical squamous cell carcinoma has a certain clinical value.
