Curative Effect Observation Of Gegen Qinlian Xiaoke Decoction On Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus With Spleen Impaired By Wetness-heat

ObjectiveType 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM) is a metabolic disease characterized by glucose, fat and protein metabolism disorder, which is characterized by pathological and physiological changes of insulin resistance and(or)insulin secretion disorders. With the development of economy and the change of life style, the prevalence of T2DM is increasing year by year. Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) has a great application space for the prevention and treatment of diabetes and its complications, many TCM treatment of diabetes curative effect research is in the ascendant. My tutor combined with the ancient and modern literature research and its own many years of clinical experience, with clearing heat and removing dampness, spleen-strengthening and qi-invigorating method, use self-made Gegen Qinlian Xiaoke Decoction in the treatment of T2DM with spleen impaired by wetness and heat made good curative effect. This topic through a prospective controlled clinical trials to evaluate the clinical effect and safety of the tutor’s self-made Gegen Qinlian Xiaoke Decoction, for TCM on the clearing heat and removing dampness, spleen-strengthening and qi-invigorating method in the treatmentof T2DM with spleen impaired by wetness and heat provide clinical evidence for reference.MethodsIn this study,90 patients of T2DM with spleen impaired by wetness and heat was selected with the combination of disease and syndrome as the research object, to carry out prospective randomized controlled trials. Randomly divided into the control group of 45 cases (5 cases were dropped out), give metformin tablets to oral administration, and the treatment group of 45 cases (4 cases were dropped out), give metformin tablets and Gegen Qinlian Xiaoke Decoction to oral administration. The patinets were observed for 8 weeks.Results1. In terms of blood glucose,the two groups both can reduce the FPG,2hPBG and HbAlc. The control group can be reduced respectively by an average of 2.15mmol/L、 3.99mmol/L、 1.12%, the effective rates were 67.5%,75%.62.5%, respectively. The treatment group can be reduce respectively by an average of 2.79mmol/L、 4.69mmol/L、 1.66%, the effective rates were 85.4%.92.7%.85.4%, respectively. The treatment group’s curative effect of reduce the blood glucose is better than the control group.2.In terms of blood lipids, the two groups both can reduce the TC, TG, LDL-C,and increase the HDL-C. The treatment group’s curative effect of reduce TC and LDL-C is better than the control group.3. In terms of symptoms, the two groups both can improve the symptoms of the yellowish or reddish urine, the hearts irritancy, the limbs burnout and the discomforting evacuation.The control group had no significant effect on the chested and abdominal distension and the heaviness of head and body. But the treatment group can improve these two symptoms, and its effect is better than the control group. In terms of the total score of Chinese medicine symptom, the effective rate of control group is 77.5%, and the treatment group is 92.7%. The treatment group’s total curative effect of improve symptoms is better than the control group.ConclusionGegen Qinlian Xiaoke Decoction combined with metformin tablets to improve blood glucose, blood lipid and symptoms in patients of T2DM with spleen impaired by wetness and heat is better than the simple use of metformin tablets. Gegen Qinlian Xiaoke Decoction is helpful to improve blood glucose, blood lipid and symptoms in patients of T2DM with spleen impaired by wetness and heat.
