ObjectiveUsing ME-NBI/ staining endoscope for suspected early upper gastrointestinal cancer patients were selected by studying the relationship between TCM Constitution and risk factors of early upper gastrointestinal cancer incidence, discussed the early cancer distribution of TCM constitution characteristics and related influencing factors. According to the characteristics of the physical distribution of the high risk population, it provides reference for early diagnosis and early diagnosis of upper gastrointestinal cancer, and exerts the characteristics of Chinese medicine to promote the objective of TCM syndrome differentiation.MethodsThis study used methods for observational studies, selected crowd who check their upper digestive tract in digestive endoscopy center of Guangdong Province Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine in 2014 September to December 2015, with the ME-NBI/staining endoscopy observed suspicious lesions and the biopsies were taken for pathological examination. Eventually were pathologically diagnosed as early upper gastrointestinal cancer collected patient related information and physical identification of traditional Chinese medicine to the patient, and carries on the analysis to the Constitution in Chinese medicine and related factors.ResultsThis study included 56 patients who met the inclusion criteria, including 30 cases of early esophageal cancer and 26 cases of early gastric cancer. There were 34 males and 22 females. The ratio of male to female was 1.5:1, among the ratio of male to female was 2.3:1 in the early esophageal cancer group. Among them, the female with Qi deficiency and blood stasis and phlegm dampness were more common in male, and there were significant differences (P<0.05).Symptoms and endoscopy, laboratory examination, no obvious symptoms in 22 cases (39.29%). The maximum value of CEA was 14.43, the average was 3.23 +3, the maximum value of CA19-9 was 177.60, the average was 23.74+19.12. Only CEA positive was 4 (7.14%), only CA19-9 positive was 7 (12.5%), two were positive in 3 cases (5.36%). Early cancer type II seen in 46 cases (82.14%), among which II B rare in 28 cases (50%). The crimson tongue tongue color profiles, there are 30 cases (53.6%), followed by the pale red tongue, red tongue, respectively,12 cases (21.4%),7 cases (12.5%), and there was no purple tongue. TCM Constitution distribution with Qi deficiency, the most common, followed by blood stasis, phlegm dampness, in which the female with Qi deficiency and more common, the male with blood stasis and phlegm dampness. Tongue, purple tongue and white greasy fur is more common and is usually accompanied by sublingual vein varicose, tips on digestion tract early cancer patients with TCM syndrome characteristics is wet, blood stasis as. Analysis of traditional Chinese Medicine Constitution and characteristics of tongue image in patients with early stage cancer of the upper digestive tract is helpful to the treatment of TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment, which is helpful for the prevention and health care of the patients with early carcinoma of the upper digestive tract.
