Sha Bai Run Fei Particles Clinical Study On The Prevention Of Acute Radiation-induced Lung Injury

Object:Evaluate the clinical effect of Sha Bai Run Fei particles,prevention of radiation-induced lung injury.We can provide clinical evidence of Sha Bai Run Fei particles in the prevention of acute radiation-induced pulmonary injury through this research, objectively evaluate the clinical effect of Chinese medicine in preventing acute radiation-induced lung injury.Methods : We selecte 60 esophageal cancer patients who will accepte radiotherapy and use clinical trial design method of randomized controlled,divided them into two group by random digital table method: Sha Bai group(Sha Bai Run Fei particles group) is 30 cases and the control group(simple radiotherapy group)is 30 cases.We observe acute radioactive lung injury occurred rate of patients after they radiat 3 month, self-appraisal of clinic symptoms、life quality score and TGF-beta 1.Result:After radiation treatment, radiation-induced lung injury incidence of Sha Bai group and control group in patients are 10.0% and 26.7%,respectively.By statistical analysis, the two groups have statistical differences(P<0.05). Compared Sha Bai group with control group 3 months later after radiotherapy, symptom such as cough, and cough phlegm, and asthma, and fever, and thirsty and the constipation are more improved(p<0.05). Sha Bai Run Fei particles improve the quality of life(p<0.05). Before radiotherapy two group plasma TGF-beta 1 level have no obviously differences(P>0.05),compared two group after radiotherapy 2 week, and 4 week, and 3 months,TGF-beta-1 level with Sha Bai groups are lower than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Sha Bai Run Fei particles reduce the incidence of radioactive lung injury in patients with chest tumor radiation therapy, reduce the level of serum TGF- beta 1, relieve the clinical symptoms. Sha Bai Run Fei particles can prevent radiation-induced lung injury.
