Objective: Observe the clinic treatment effect of the application of nourishment venation spasm relief method for spastic hemiplegia after stroke.Methods: Allocate the seventy-two patients with spastic hemiplegia after stroke randomly into two groups with equal quantity, one of which is treatment group, the other is comparison group according to the designing scheme of random comparison experiment. Both groups are given the same medical common medicine treatment and rehabilitation training. What makes them different is that orally intake Chinese medicine of nourishment venation spasm relief method is offered for treatment group. Chinese medicine assessment is done before and after the treatment. The assessment of rehabilitation condition of muscular tension applies the improved Ashworth muscular tension scale(MAS).The assessment of observation of limb function adopts the simplified Fugl-Meyer assessment(FMA).The assessment of improvement of daily living ability applies ADL scale.All the assessments will be assessed by the same doctor, who will conduct statistical analysis on the results of two groups on the purpose of comparing whether the application of nourishment venation spasm relief method in the treatment of spastic hemiplegia after stroke can have better effect on the ease of muscular tension and on the improvement of living quality than the comparison group.Result:(1)The Chinese medicine assessments of both groups decreases with a statistic significance(P<0.05).The Chinese medicine assessment of treatment group decreases much more than that of comparison group with a statistic significance(P<0.05).(2) MAS assessments of both groups decrease with a statistic significance(P<0.05). The muscular tension of treatment group decreases much more than that of comparison group with a statistic significance(P<0.05).(3) FMA assessments ofboth groups improve after the treatment with a statistic significance(P<0.05). There is no obvious difference between the treatment group and the comparison one(P<0.05).(4)ADL index of both groups improves after the treatment. The treatment group provides degrees more obvious than that of the comparison group, which presents a difference with a statistic significance(P>0.05).Conclusion: Nourishment venation spasm relief method Chinese medicine oral intake for the treatment of spastic hemiplegia after stroke has better effect than merely common medicine with rehabilitation training.
