Objective: To study the value of peripheral blood T-lymphocyte subsets analysis in the diagnosis of acute rejection in human renal transplantion. Methods: Selected 27 patients which did renal transplant in our hospital during 2009 to 2010, named preoperative group. 16 patients were diagnosed as acute graft rejection, and 11 patients were stable group. Among them, the levels of CD3+ and CD4+ and CD8+ and CD3+CD4+T and CD3+CD8+T cells in peripheral blood were measured and analyzed by flow cytometry at baseline(the 1st day before renal transplantation) and at the 7th day after renal transplantion, and date from conventional laboratory techniques were used for assessing renal function. Results: The level of CD3+CD4+T in the acute graft rejection group and stable group were greater than preoperative group significantly(P<0.05), but between the acute graft rejection group and stable group has no significance(P>0.05). Conclusions: The monitoring of peripheral blood T-lymphocyte subsets was of significance in the diagnosis of AR and the individualized immunosuppressive therapy for kidney transplant recipients.
