Objective: To study the risk factors affecting the hospital anxiety depression in the elderly. Methods: Selection in September 2014 to September 2015 in the first affiliated hospital’s Psychological of xinjiang medical university older population. Will conform to the diagnostic criteria and the Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA14) and Hamilton depression scale(HAMD17) assessment of the patient group. 124 cases of elderly patients with anxiety group, the depression group 120 cases. At the same time the hospital physical examination center for the elderly, 116 cases of normal control group.Using general survey scale, Eysenck personality questionnaire(EPQ) were investigated and evaluated.Collected at 7 o ’clock the next day morning blood, monitoring the level of the blood sugar,blood lipids etc.physiological indexes. To analyze the data.Results: the multi-factor Logistic regression analysis showed that the elderly anxiety risk factors for age(OR=1.566,95%CI:1.280~1.916),1 year medical burden(OR=1.084, 95% CI:1.006~1.103),and neuroticism N(OR=2.062, 95%CI:1.683~2.526). Geriatric depression risk factors for age(OR=1.018, 95%CI:1.010~1.027), the 1 year medical burden(OR=1.923, 95%CI:1.652~2.337), whether to live alone(OR=1.705, 95%CI: 1.316~2.183). Conclusion: the anxiety risk factors as age,1 year medical burden, neuroticism N. Geriatric depression risk factors as age, 1 year medical burden and whether to live alone.
