Objective: To explore the value of ABCD3-V score in predicting the early risk o f cerebral infarction after transient ischemic attack(TIA).Methods: We included in 212 TIA patients. The incidence of cerebral infarction within 7 days was observed. The predictive ability of ABCD3-V score was assessed by calculating the area under the ROC curve.According to ABCD3-V score, the patients were divided into low risk group, medium risk group and high risk group, and to analyze some related risk factors. Results: 27(12.7%)out of 212 patients suffered from cerebral infarction in 7 days after TIA. The area under the ROC curve for ABC D2, ABCD3 and ABCD3-I were 0.671,0.729 and 0.808 in predicting the risk of cerebral infarction within 7 days, respectively. The incidence of cerebral infarction was significantly higher in high risk group than in medium and low risk groups(P<0.01, P<0.05),and in medium group than in low risk group(P<0.01).The ABC D3-V score was positively related with the incidence of cerebral infarction within 7 days after TIA(r =0.945,P<0.01).Logistic regression model showed tha t hypertension, dual TIA(TIA prompting medical attention plus at least another TIA in the preceding7 d)and ipsilaterald≥50% stenosis of intracranial arterial display obvious influence to the occurrence of cerebral infarction within 7 days after TIA(P<0.05).Conclusion: ABCD3-V score could more effectively predict the occurrence of early risk of cerebral infarction after TIA.
