Clinical Research On Treating Yang Deficiency Constitution Of Chronic Renal Failure Azotemia With Acupoint Application

Objective:To observe and research the clinical efficacy of acupoint application in treating patients which yang deficiency constitution of chronic renal failure azotemia and its effect on the urine protein, serum creatinine,creatinine clearance rate,serum uric acid, blood urea nitrogen and other clinical indexes,at the same time, observing the effect of acupoint application on body constitution and then explore the mechanism of acupoint application on yang deficiency constitution of chronic renal failure,to provide a theoretical basis for the treatment of chronic kidney disease with external therapy of traditional Chinese Medicine.Methods:66 patients of chronic renal failure azotemia which type was yang deficiency constitution, using single blind method, 33 cases were randomly divided into experimental group and control group of 33 cases,the control group was treated with general therapy and routine treatment and the experimental group with acupoint application therapy on the basis of the control group treatment,once two days,4weeks for a course of treatment, after 3 courses of treatment,observing the treatment changes and differences between groups.Results:1.In 66 patients, 6 cases were excluded, 60 cases were included in this research, no significant differences in the number of cases collected to complete the experiment and rejection cases(P>0.05),Patients’ compliance was greater than90.90%,There was no significant difference in gender, age, course of disease,traditional Chinese medicine symptom score and traditional Chinese medicine constitution between the two groups.2.After 3 courses of treatment, the total effective rate of the experimental group was83.33%;The total effective rate of control group was 60%, and there was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).3.Compared with treatment before, the two groups both had statistically significant in terms of urinary protein, serum creatinine, creatinine clearance, serum uric acid, blood urea nitrogen(P<0.05, P<0.01);The experimental group was better than the control group in reducing serum creatinine, increasing the rate of endogenous creatinine clearance and improving the traditional Chinese medicine symptom score and the degree of constitution of Yang deficiency(P<0.05, P<0.01).Conclusions: Acupoint application had good clinical effect on treating patients which yang deficiency constitution of chronic renal failure azotemia, It has certain advantages in improving the overall curative effect, ameliorating patients’ clinical symptoms and yang deficiency degree,reducing serum creatinine, increasing the rate of endogenous creatinine.The acupoint application could retard the rate of progression of CRF and it is a simple and effective method to treat chronic renal failure azotemia.The acupoint application has high clinical application value.
