Objective To explore the effect of cardiopulmonary rehabilitation training related with the pulmonary function and the quality of life on patients with IPF. Methods 30 patients with IPF were chosen as research subjects and randomly divided into two groups.control group (n=15) and experimental group (n=15). The control group were received regular drug treatment according to guidelines.the experimental group were received regular drug treatment with cardiopulmonary rehabilitation training. The differences in lung functions (FVC% pred, TLC% pred, DLCO% pred),6MWD and ATAQ-IPF of two groups were compared before treatment and after 12 weeks.AND the SPSS 19 statistical software was used to process these data. Results 1.After 12 weeks of treatment, the FVC% pred (72.93+7.25) of the experimental group were significantly improved compared with FVC%pred (65.05+ 11.14) before the experiment, and with FVC%pred (68.05+6.79) in the control group.and the result was significant differences (P< 0.05);2.After 12 weeks of treatment, the TLC% pred (72.72+10.88) of the experimental group were significantly improved compared with TLC% pred (66.03+12.11) before the experiment, and with TLC% pred (68.26+11.45) in the control group.and the result was significant differences (P< 0.05);3.After 12 weeks of treatment, the DLCO% pred (51.51+11.39) of the experimental group were significantly improved compared with DLCO% pred (42.95.10.16) before the experiment, and with DLCO% pred (45.75+10.54) in the control group, and the result was significant differences (P<0.05);4.After 12 weeks of treatment, the 6MWD (354.67+61.53) of the experimental group were significantly improved compared with the 6MWD (295.99+61.75) before the experiment, and with the 6MWD (317.72+58.13) in the control group.and the result was significant differences (P<0.05);5.After 12 weeks of treatment, the ATAQ-IPF (354.67+61.53) of the experimental group were significantly improved compared with the ATAQ-IPF (216.47+40.99) before the experiment, and with the ATAQ-IPF (216.73+39.66) in the control group.and the result was significant differences (P<0.05):6.After 12 weeks of treatment, the change of 6MWD was positively related with the improvement of the pulmonary function in the experimental group;and the ATAQ-IPF was negatively related with the change of the pulmonary function in the experimental group. Conclusion Cardiopulmonary rehabilitation training based on CPET can significantly improve pulmonary function and quality of life in patients with IPF.
