Objective:To investigate the value of two-dimensional ultrasound combined with three-dimensional ultrasound in the diagnosis of fetal limb deformities. Methods:A total of34186 pregnant women, who did the 2D&3D-dimensional ultrasound prenatal screening examination in the department of obstetrics and gynecology ultrasound diagnostics of The first affiliated hospital of Xinjiang medical university, from May 2009 to December2014.And these results compared with induced labor and follow-up results.Measured plantar translucency and explored the relationship of the planter translucency with the newborn’s foot abnormalities. Results:In 34186 cases of pregnant women, the 2D ultrasound examination found 98 cases of fetal limb deformities and 2D&3D ultrasound examination found 105 cases.Postpartum confirmed 115 cases fetal limb deformities. There were 17 cases of malformation were missed diagnosis only using the 2D ultrasound examination, and 10 cases in the 2D&3D ultrasound examination.2D ultrasound in diagnosing fetal limb deformities of the sensitivity of 85.22%, the 2D&3D ultrasound can reach 91.30%.The total relevance ratios of the two methods were compared, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Two ways in the diagnosis of specific degrees were up to 100%(the two ways’ misdiagnosis rate are zero). The average of Normal fetal plantar translucency was 0.23±0.09 cm, and it was 0.35±0.14 cm of the fetus with strephenopodia malformation. differences between the two groups were significant(P < 0.05).By the ROC curve, it is concluded that at the same time satisfied the plantar translucency on the sensitivity of the fetal strephenopodia diagnosis and specific degrees relative to the optimal point is 0.36 cm, the area under the curve is 0.807, the sensitivity was 87.8%, and the specificity was 73.6%.Conclusion:Three-dimensional ultrasound isthe important supplement of the two-dimensional ultrasound. Three-dimensional ultrasound in the diagnosis of fetal limb deformities has obvious advantage.Fetal plantar translucency on diagnosis of fetal congenital clubfoot has important clinical diagnostic significance.
