Objective:With the rapid econom ic development, the great wealth of material life, people’s demand for the beauty is also getting higher and higher, the beautiful smile has become the pursuit of the goal. In the past, most of the research subjects were Caucasian race in Europe and the United S tates, and the researchers were too general to refine the resear ch on race and gender. Purpose of this experim ent was measured by means of the Mongolian ethnic Chinese male and female positive smile phase come to our country men’s and women’s maxillary anterior teeth width ratio of normal value range and the optimum width ratio range(the "golden ratio" range). Which can guide orthodontic doctors improve the beauty of t he patients’ smile directly. Even the patients with the anterior teeth m issing, deformity, the "golden ratio" range ca n also be an im portant reference index to guide the treatment of Orthodontic- Implantology and Orthodontic- Prosthodontics treatment. Methods:1,In the first experiment, 135 normal teenagers, included 65 males and 70 females are select ed based on the criteri a. Using the Canon EOS 500 D digital camera shoots subject s positive sm iles phases. Using Photoshop CS6 software to measure both the left and the right side of the canine’s and lateral incisor’s and central incisor’s width of every subject phase. Get the average of the left and right side of the three t eeth. Then calculate the canine / late ral incisors and lateral incisor / central incisor width ratio. SPSS 22.0 statistical software was used for statistical analysis the maxillary anterior teeth of male and female value normal range of the width ratio.2, In the second experiment, c hoose nine ort hodontic doctor, evaluation of the 135 positive smile phases. If the judge considers the smile of the phase is charm ing, the phase will get 5 points. If feel pretty good, get 4 points. If feel ok, get 3 points. If feel not good, get 2 points. If feel bad, get 1 points. The phases with average points at least three points are considered beautiful sm iles. SSPS 22.0 software was used for statistical analysis these charming sm iles, then we can g et the maxillary anterior tooth width ratio of m ale and female, that is, the "golden rati o" range. Result:Measurement of 135 subjects the data after a single sample K-S test and independent sam ples t test sta tistical analysis showed that all participants, male and female maxilla ry lateral incisor / central incisor width ratio and maxillary canine / lateral incisor width ratios of the number according to the distribu tion are in line with the normal distribution, between dif ferent gender two indexes had no statistical difference. This pre-experimental results as a reference, to choose to obtain data of 26 has a charm ing smile subjects after a single sam ple K-S test and independent samples t test statistical an alysis shows, with all the staff of the charming smile, male’s and female’s maxillary lateral incisor/ central incisor width ratio a nd maxillary canine / lateral incisor width ratio of data distribution are in line with norm al distribution, between different gender two indexes had no statistical di fference. The male with charming smile and the range of norm al values was no significant dif ference. The female with charm ing smile and th e range of norm al values was no significant difference. Conclusion:1.Teeth with normal m orphology of personnel, positive smile maxillary lateral incisor /central incisor width ratio range of norm al values was 0.74 + 0.165, m axillary canine / lateral incisor width ratio range of norm al values was 0.82 + 0.264. There were no significant differences in the two ratios between different genders.2.Teeth with a charm ing smile of personne l, positive smile maxillary lateral incisor / central incisor golden width ratio range for 0.75 + 0.126, maxillary canine /lateral inci sor golden width ratio range is 0.81+0.261There were no significant dif ferences in the two ratios between different genders.3.The golden width ratio ra nges within the normal ranges. Th e golden width ratio ranges were no si gnificant differences between th e normal width ratio ranges.
