Objective:The expression of p53 and Survivin were detected by immunohistochemical method in colorectal cancer, and postoperative follow-up of 5 years. Preliminary study of the relationship between the two and the pathological parameters and prognosis of colorectal cancer. Method:45 cases of radical resection of colorectal cancer were selected from the First Hospital of Jilin University from October 2010 to April 2010. And after 5 years of follow-up, control group selected perforation, intestinal obstruction and other diseases due to resection of 25 cases of patients with colorectal(confirmed by postoperative pathology were normal tissue), in the specimen bank selected the corresponding tissue specimens of paraffin block. According to sex, age, T stage, histological type, lymph node number and clinicopathological parameters such as transfer, finishing in the experimental group, the clinical data, the wax blocks were sectioned and stained with immunohistochemistry to detect the expressions of Survivin and p53 protein expression. The data were analyzed by using the SPSS18.0 statistic software, count data using chi square test, Correlation using Spearman correlation analysis, and survival analysis was performed using the Kaplan Meier method,α=0.05 as tests, with P<0.05 for the difference was statistical significant. Result:1、The expression of survivin protein in colorectal cancer tissue was significantly higher than that in normal tissue(P < 0.05) and its protein expression and histological type, T staging and lymph node metastasis(P < 0.05), and with the gender, age, vascular invasionand other clinical and pathological parameters.2 、 Expression of p53 protein in colorectal cancer tissue was significantly higher than that in normal tissue(P < 0.05) and its protein expression was related to T stage, lymph node metastasis and vascular invasion(P<0.05), but it was not related to gender, age, histological type and other clinical pathological parameters.3、The expressions of Survivin protein and p53 protein in colorectal cancer tissue was positively correlated(r= 0.601, P<0.05).4、The 5 year survival rate of p53 protein and Survivin protein expression group was lower than that of negative expression group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusions:1、The expression of Survivin and p53 protein in colorectal cancer and normal tissues were different.2、High expression of Survivin and p53 promotes the development, invasion and metastasis of colorectal cancer.3、Expression changes of Survivin and p53 protein were associated with the prognosis after radical resection of colorectal cancer.
