Objective:Effects of Bai Hu Ren Shen Decoction Modified Prescriptions on oxidative stress in rats with type 2 diabetes pathway model compound of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione (GSH) antioxidant index explore Bai Hu Ren Shen Decoction Modified Prescriptions oxidative stress mechanism of action, clinical application of treatment diabetes and its complications to provide experimental evidence.Methods:Clean healthy male SD rats 40, weighing 200±10 g, were randomly divided into control group 10, model 10, Bai Hu Ren Shen Decoction Modified Prescriptions group 10, α-lipoic acid group 10. In addition to the control group, normal diet, the other group were given high fat diet, within 4 weeks after a single intraperitoneal injection left STZ40mg/kg. Blood glucose≥16.7mmol/L as a standard molded diabetic rats. After the modeling to Bai Hu Ren Shen Decoction Modified Prescriptions 8.37g/kg/d and α-lipoic acid 20mg/kg/d and were administered the same volume of distilled water to be treated, and the activity was measured in serum SOD and GSH after 4 weeks.Results:1. Experiment 4 weeks, compared with the control group, model group, α-lipoic acid group and the group Bai Hu Ren Shen Decoction Modified Prescriptions blood sugar, with significant difference (P<0.05); 8 weeks, compared with the control group, the model group, α-lipoic acid group and Bai Hu Ren Shen Decoction Modified Prescriptions blood glucose increased, with significant difference (P<0.05); compared with the model group, α-lipoic acid group, blood glucose Bai Hu Ren Shen Decoction Modified Prescriptions model group were lower, with significant difference (P<0.05); Bai Hu Ren Shen Decoction Modified Prescriptions α-lipoic acid group and the comparison group, blood glucose decreased, with significant difference (P<0.05).2. Compared with the control group, model group, α-lipoic acid group and serum SOD rats Bai Hu Ren Shen Decoction Modified Prescriptions group, GSH levels were reduced, with significant difference (P<0.05); compared with the model group, α-lipoic acid group and serum SOD rats Bai Hu Ren Shen Decoction Modified Prescriptions group, GSH levels increase, a significant difference (P<0.05); no significant difference α-lipoic acid group and the group Bai Hu Ren Shen Decoction Modified Prescriptions (P> 0.05).Conclusion:1. Bai Hu Ren Shen Decoction Modified Prescriptions lower blood sugar in diabetic rats.2. Bai Hu Ren Shen Decoction Modified Prescriptions significantly increased in diabetic rats serum SOD activity and GSH content and alleviate oxidative stress in diabetic rats has good antioxidant capacity.
