Medical device industry is a multi-disciplinary,knowledge-intensive and capital-intensive high-tech industry. What’s more,it, one of the most active trade industry, is the world’s fastest growing industry. Computerization and automation of medical devices, bring the convenience to medical technicians. This paper analyzes the comparative advantages and disadvantages of the existing radiation oncology equipment and related auxiliary equipment, which illustrate automatic real-time tracking system called Ops to solve the problem. On the basis of the existing Ops system, we make the design of a secondary control system to improve its degree of automation, making the linear accelerator treatment couch automatically to reach a positioning accuracy within the range of 0.6mm.We combine Varian treatment bed control panel features to corresponding mechanical design solutions. The mechanical device is designed in accordance with the control circuit design,which drive the mechanism to execute the target action. To make Varian’s software positioning control more flexible, we put forward the concept of adaptive control algorithm placement in an innovative way. Algorithm only needs a few specific parameters determined in advance, and autonomously learn and know the sports performance information of the couch. The basic idea is:the use of progressive positioning manner, so that the accelerator can smoothly move the couch to within the accuracy range. At the same time, continue to optimize look-up table through the use of interpolation positioning, to extend the maximum speed of the effective positioning time, making automatic linear accelerator bed placement time to less than 35 seconds. In addition, we use a similar development process to make a Simmens prototype.After clinical practice,it has proved that Varian auxiliary system,which is designed in this paper,able to assist placement better. Therefore, it got radiotherapy physicians’ recognition in Jiangsu Provincial Tumor Hospital.
