Objective: Visceral fat(visfatin) is a kind of cellular fat factor, which has been studied in recent years. It plays an important role in the occurrence and development of diabetes and metabolic diseases. This study was to determine the correlation between plasma levels of visfatin T2 DM and macrovascular complications. Methods: 1.Choose March 2015-December 2015 in North Sichuan Medical college hospital for treatment of patients, according to the 1999 WHO diagnostic criteria for diabetes and devided into merger Macroangiopathy group(MVC) 49 cases and without macroangiopathy group(nMVC) 16 cases, and type 2 diabetic patients with macrovascular disease group according to the severity of vascular disease is divided into three subgroups.at the same time, 23 healthy persons were selected as control group.2. Using Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) to determine the fasting plasma visfatin concentration, and harvest for body mass index, fasting blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin, triglyceride, cholesterol, high density lipoprotein, low density lipoprotein general clinical indicators.3.Using SPSS 16 statistical software for analysis, the data is normally distributed test and test of homogeneity of variance, if not consistent, then the transformation of the variables must be done to meet the normal distribution and homogeneity of variance.between the two samples, the independent sample t test was used, and the single factor variance analysis was used between the multiple samples.between visfatin and body Mass index, glycosylated hemoglobin, fasting blood glucose, triglyceride, cholesterol, high density lipoprotein, low density lipoprotein using linear correlation analysis multiple to study the correlation and logistic regression analysis was used to measure the independent risk factors of diabetic macroangiopathy.Results:1.In the normal control group, group n MVC, MVC group comparison: TC, FPG, HbA1 c in the nMVC group and MVC group were significantly higher than NC group, HDL-C levels were lower than the NC group, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05). The difference of these measures between nMVC group and MVC group did’t have statistical significance(P > 0.05). The level of visfatin in MVC group was higher than that in group NC, The level of LDL-C in MVC group was higher than that in group NC and group nMVC, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). There were no significant differences in the comparison of BMI, DBP, TG and SBP between the three groups(P>0.05).2.MVC of each subgroup comparison: HbA1 c in group M3 was higher than M1 and M2 group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05), M1 and M2 had no statistically significant difference(P>0.05). There were no significant differences in HDL-C, LDL-C, FPG between the subgroups(P>0.05). Level of visfatin in M3 group was significantly higher than that of M1 group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05), M3 was higher than M2, but there was no statistical difference between the two groups.3.Single factor correlation analysis showed that plasma visfatin and BMI, HbA1 c and TC were positively correlated with the course of disease, SBP, DBP, HDL-C and TG have no obvious correlation. Multi factor correlation analysis showed that TG, BMI and Hb A1 c were independent risk factors influencing plasma visfatin levels.4.Logistics regression analysis showed: visfatin, LDL-C, BMI were the independent risk factors of diabetic macrovascular disease.Conclusion:1. The level of plasma visfatin in T2 DM patients was increased, which indicated that visfatin was closely related to the occurrence and development of T2 DM.2. BMI, TC, TG, HbA1 c may be the factors that affect the level of plasma visfatin, visfatin and obesity, blood lipid metabolism, blood glucose control was closely related.3. The level of plasma visfatin was positively correlated with the severity of diabetic vascular disease, and it was an independent risk factor for diabetic vascular disease. It played an important role in the occurrence and development of atherosclerosis.
