Objective:To investigate the change of plasma visfatin level in CAD patients complicated with glycometabolism abnormality and the relationship of plasma visfatin level to components of CAD patients complicated with glycometabolism abnormality.Methods:The fasting blood samples from 23 patients with CAD complicated with NGT,30 patients with CAD complicated with IGR and 35 patients with CAD complicated with T2DM were collected after their CAG from Apr 1th,2007 to Aug 14th,2007 in NO.5 Accessory Hospital of Guangxi Medical University(Liu Zhou People's Hospital).Visfatin of samples were measured with ELISA.All datas from the experiment were analyzed by SPSS13 package.Results:1.There was no significant difference in the levels of the concentrations and expressions of sex,age,BW,pulse,SBP,DBP,TC, TG,APO B,HDL-C,HOMA-IR and visfatin among CAD complicated with NGT group,CAD complicated with IGR group and CAD complicated with T2DM group(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the numbers of involved coronary arteries among CAD complicated with NGT group,CAD complicated with IGR group and CAD complicated with T2DM group(P>0.05). The body height in CAD complicated with T2DM group was lower(P<0.05)than that of CAD complicated with NGT ones.The average values of WC, BMI,APO A,LDL-C,FPG and 2hPG in CAD complicated with T2DM group were higher(P<0.05)than that of CAD complicated with NGT ones.The level of 2hPG in CAD complicated with IGR group was higher(P<0.05)than that of CAD complicated with NGT ones.2.Visfatin level was positively correlated with the numbers of involved coronary arteries(r=0.259,P=0.015),and negatively with YG(r=-0.224,P=0.046).3.Multiple regression analysis showed that TG was a independent related factor in influencing visfatin level.Conclusions:1.There was no significant difference in the level of the expression of visfatin among CAD complicated with NGT group,CAD complicated with IGR group and CAD complicated with T2DM group,it indicates that glycometabolism cannot affect serum visfatin level in patients with CAD.2.Visfatin level is positively correlated with the numbers of involved coronary arteries.It suggests that visfatin may be a inflammatory cytokine and correlate with the degree of coronary artery stenosis.Visfatin may be a good index of indicate in CAD.3.The expression of visfatin is correlated negatively with TG and the multiple regression analysis shows that TG is a independent related factor in influencing visfatin level.It is showed that the expression of visfatin has a intimate correlation with TG.But,the result needed to be further studied.Larger studies on TG with glycometabolism abnormality and multiple cardiovascular risk factors may help to analyze the independent effects of visfatin with TG.
