Research On The Relationship Between Residents’ Income Level And Health In China

The right of existence is the basis of development right. One of the necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of the right of existence is health, which makes our life and work more meaningful. Therefore, health is the most important wealth of life, and the development of human society depends on the health of human beings. Health is not only related to the medical and health fields, but also with the social and economic development. Health is the basic guarantee for the individual to obtain the social and economic status, and the health status of a country’s overall health is also a key factor to influence economic growth and social progress. With the development and deepening of theory, people realize that health and income are related. Especially in recent years, the study shows that income inequality has a significant impact on health.Income as an important material and economic basis, due to the different income levels, people’s investment in the health field are not same, leading to the inequality healthy level. Therefore, different social groups, their health levels are also different. Related data shows that the higher income levels of social groups, their health level is higher than the lower income levels of social groups; in other words, a person’s income level is lower, the health of the investment is less, the greater the risk of health. However, the phenomenon of health inequality can be changed. The World Health Organization made a commitment in 2005 to achieve universal coverage of health services, which should be expressed by health services should be an equal enjoyment of all, and that the enjoyment of health services is not subject to the influence of individual economic capacity and the constraints of life. If better to achieve the full coverage of the people’s health, it will bring better health and well-being of mankind, it will reduce the existence of social unrest, promote social justice, and promote long-term development of society.Therefore, this article starts from the income level and health level of two aspects, and used statistical theory, human capital theory, social security theory and related measurement model, to explore the relationship between the level of income and health of residents in China, and combined with empirical analysis, put forward policy recommendations.The structure and main contents of this paper are as follows:First, it mainly introduces the research background, research significance and so on. At the same time, the innovation of this paper is to analyze the influence of income level on health from the diet, lifestyle, medical level and health. Of course, because of the lack of data in this paper, the conclusion of this paper may have some defects. Through the study of domestic and foreign scholars on the relationship between the level of income and health of the relevant literature, this paper provides a follow-up to help.Second, the definition of income and health and the relevant content of the introduction, analysis of a variety of measures of income and health levels of common methods, and the article is needed to discuss the basic theory.Third,looking up 2011,2013,2014 China statistical yearbook,2010,2011, 2012,2013,2014 China health statistics yearbook, and 2011 China’s population and employment statistics yearbook to analyze the income level and health status of residents in China, and from four aspects of the diet, lifestyle, medical treatment level, work intensity to analyze the level of income.Fourth, a regression model is established to analyze the cross section data of the income level and the life span. The analysis results show that the income level and the expected life span are positively related. At the same time, this paper has carried on the test to the parameter, the whole model test, the result is obvious, the model fitting degree is good, the construction model is established.Fifth, the article puts forward some policy suggestions on the analysis of the status quo of the residents’ income level and health level and the empirical analysis. There are four main aspects:first, improve the income level of residents, improve the income distribution system. Second, improve the health of the residents to improve the health status of the mechanism. Again, to enhance the health of residents awareness, change bad habits. Finally, improve the health care system, improve the fairness of medical and health resources allocation, and actively promote the full coverage of basic medical insurance system, improve medical standards.Sixth, summarized the impact of income levels on the health level, and outlook. Through the increase in income levels, people’s diet, lifestyle will change, and a good diet and lifestyle will improve people’s health level. The increase of income level will enable people to enjoy more medical resources, so it can prevent and treat various diseases, promote people to enjoy a healthy physique. At the same time, the improvement of the income level will make people choose to be more proper leisure entertainment way, ease the work pressure, and better promote the development of people’s physical and mental health.
