Objective : Through analysis of clinical trial research among the elderly intertrochanteric fracture percutaneous multifunctional external fixator clinical efficacy and patient prognosis, relatively simple multifunctional external fixation and percutaneous TCM damage at more than three transdermal therapeutic intervention functional external fixation of intertrochanteric fractures, clinical treatment of intertrochanteric fractures provide a new way of thinking and approach and validate the clinical efficacy of Chinese medicine treatment of intertrochanteric fractures. Methods:Choose from December 2013 to January 2015 Yangquan Coal General Hospital were used purely external fixation and percutaneous multifunction TCM damage after therapeutic intervention under three leather multifunctional external fixation of intertrochanteric fractures of 40 cases subjects conducted clinical trials, in which the simple percutaneous multifunctional external fixator group, 18 patients in the control group as a test, under TCM therapeutic intervention as a test group of 20 cases of percutaneous multifunctional external fixator group, detailed records of each group of patients indicators such as former Harris hip score, intraoperative indicators such as operation time, blood loss, postoperative indicators such as length of stay, infection, healing time, Harris hip score and the incidence of complications, such as application software SPSS13.0 experimental data were analyzed.Results:① control group and the experimental group in age, gender, fracture type and preoperative Harris hip score difference was not statistically significant; ② control group and the experimental group operative time, blood loss, hospital stay was 54.11 ± 12.46 and 56.54 ± 14.00, 74.44 ± 25.94 and 72.04 ± 2.96 and 14.13 ± 23.73,14.27 ± 3.38 between the two groups, P>0.05, the difference was not statistically significant; ③ complication rates of the two groups were not significantly different, while two group of cases had no infection, there are five cases of postoperative subjects pin tract irritation with slight case, after routine use of antibiotics and strict redness disappeared after dressing; ④ control group and the experimental group in fracture healing time, hip Harris score comparison, P <0.05, significant difference. Conclusion: ① The two groups in operative time, no blood loss, hospital stay, significant differences in the incidence of complications; ② TCM damage in three therapeutic intervention, the experimental group treatment for intertrochanteric fractures among the elderly in the shortened fracture healing time, promote recovery and other aspects of hip function advantages. ③ control group and the test group for the treatment of senile intertrochanteric fractures have achieved better results.
